Ikea Floor Lamp, 46-inch, White (White, 2)

I forgot I ordered IKEA so when they came in pieces in 2 boxes I was confused for half a second. They were not difficult to put together, literally less than 2 minutes each. The directions were illustrated, however, step by step and quite clear. They feel sturdy, unlike other put together items/furniture from other stores. The lampshade is paper, I don't think I clearly interpreted the description if I did read it at all because I expected linen not paper; this is fine as I'm sure if they do get damaged I can contact IKEA and get a replacement and it shouldn't cost too much. The on/off switch is a push button attached to the cord, on the floor which is pretty cool. I like these lamps so far. I did read that they are 42" (3.8 feet) in height and it didn't occur to me that is not very tall at all, lol...Still pretty and functional though!

I found exactly what I needed for my small apartment. I have no overhead lights and one lamp - no matter what the wattage, never seemed to light the entire living room. I bought two lamps, set them up off the floor, and they now light my entire living room...I will say, though, the lamp shades are made out of paper - an Asian look - perfect for my decor, but not something I would recommend to anyone with small children, or frisky pets. Also, if you choose to purchase them, be aware that you will not be able to use a large wattage light bulb in them...60 is about the max, but considering eco-bulbs, you should not have any problems lighting up a fairly large space. I was quite delighted with my findhey arrived looking just as expected; easy to put together, and - of course - right on time.

They would look great as an offset or more illumination when needed or wanted. I wish I knew what happened to the table lamps. I DID RECEIVE 6 OF THEM AND NEED TO HAVE 4 RETURNED. No one seems to want to help rectify this problem. I will be sending a check for 2 floor lamps @ $12.99 each, light bulbs and ice scoops but that is all is you will receive from me.Please arrange to have your other merchandise picked up (the two floor lamps which bow out, the 4 additional floor lamps by HOLMO) and I will pay for the table lamps once I receive them. I love the look of these lamps. My husband had brought one a while ago, and I had stole it to use as a lamp in my spare bedroom. Well after a while, he noticed that it was missing, and made me place it back in his man cave! hahaha Since I couldn't do without these lamps, and there is no Ikea within 200 miles of where I live, I just decided to purchase 2 from here. I loveeeee them!

These were very easy to assemble and they look great. I really like the height. I can put them in the floor and still be about 4' tall or I can put them on a table and have them at least 5' real. I think they are a great accent to the room. I'm totally getting more.

It’s beautiful but flimsy. Not kid proof. It’s very easy to install and works well. The shade is made up o a thin paper and it’s not meant to be around rough and tumble kids or rambunctious dogs. I purchased extra lamps for to replace any broken ones. Loved the design!!

Love the look of this lamp, very unusual and striking. The drawback is that it is very flimsy--the arc is not secured and can tilt easily instead of staying upright. Great for an adult environment where no one will touch touch the shade, not so great with little curious kids.

These look nice i love them. the thing I didn't like about, one of the parts were missing it still stable so that's all the matter. If you can get these on actual ”ike*” website it is way more cheaper
