Extra Strength Orange Burst 60 Chewable Foamtabs

I've used antacids for anxiety and a nervous stomach since I was 12. I grew up on the chalky things that kind of worked but not for long. Then I moved to Canada for a while and was introduced to Gaviscon. It is absolutely not the same as Tums, and it works far better. I was very skeptical when I was introduced to different flavors; mint seems to be the only thing that American manufacturers sell us. These are chewable tablets, and as soon as they hit your saliva they start foaming. That sounds like it would be unpleasant, but it is not. And the caramel and orange flavors are amazing. My favorite is the orange flavor because it reminds me of the taste of the orange sherbet / vanilla ice cream cups that we got in grade school. It swallows easily, and instantly coats the esophagus with whatever it's calming the acid with. So it's fantastic with acid reflux or GERD. It comes in a variety of flavors, but only if you look for the bottles that are specifically this shape. The rounder ones, coming from a different manufacturer, are pretty much only in mint and maybe cherry. Neither of which I care for. But they all work amazingly fast and last long enough, even if you are suffering from a very bad case of heartburn. You still might need to take another one relatively soon if you are in a huge GERD episode, but not nearly as many as you would need to take from whatever formulation is used for other antacids.

Seems to work well for LPR, do not drink anything after taking for at least 1/2 hour so the raft can form in stomache.

This US / Canada version works very well for LPR , 3 at night 1/2 hour before you lay down will stop the burning and let it heal . 3 contain about 60mg elemental magnesium, orange flavor is the good one

Always seems and work well to settle stomach. Tastes is also good. Doesn’t gag you like some antacids.

Best flavor of Gaviscon available. It's a sort of creamsickle taste.

It does stop heartburn and slight reflux well, but if you’re like me and have bad reflux it may not be for you.

I love these, they work great for heartburn or if you are feeling nauseated. They bubble up nicely and the taste isn't gross. Mild orange flavour, similar to tang or Metamucil. Arrived as expected and advertised.

-- well, no, I don't love having to use it in the first place lol, I mean I love having the "orange burst" flavour available instead of that endless mint flavouring they use in seemingly every medicine - oh yeah there is berry flavour too but that sucks even more than the peppermint. I have to take this stuff constantly because my prescription meds tear up my stomach. I like Gaviscon very much because it is made with a different base than other antacids and you can let it melt in your mouth, sorta, though it takes awhile to melt. And that is where the pleasure in the orange flavour comes in as I might go mad if I had to take more MINT medicines and keep 'em hanging about in my mouth whilst they melt! But it is definitely overpriced, in my opinion.

The security plastic that usually covers the bottle and cap is cut to the area below the cap and therefore the cap could have been previously removed. I am not sure if it is safe to use this product but it cannot be returned.

Taste like orange Creamsicles! Like the variety of flavours on Amazon that I cannot get locally.
