Just for men Control VVApd GX, Grey Reducing Shampoo, 4 Fluid Ounce (Pack of 2)

I thought I would review this product because for me this stuff actually works, it’s great. I have been using this product for a week now and my beard has turned a lot darker. I have used the product everyday and twice on weekends due to training/showering. I was worried that having sensitive skin it would prevent me from getting along with the product however, having done the patch test (as advised) all was good. The beard wash started working even after the first wash, I could see a slightly darker grey after using. With each wash it continued to turn a slightly darker grey until now after approximately 11 washes it has turned quite dark with the greyest areas only showing as a dark grey, leaving other parts of the beard a dark browny colour which is near to my old natural colour. As others have mentioned it can stain your hands so either wear some gloves or ensure you give your hands a good scrub after using, especially fingertips & nails (normal soap & a nail brush works for me). It recommends leaving on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing out, I personally have left this on for longer possibly more like between 5-10 minutes. Providing you rinse off all the product prior to drying this should not stain your towels, this is something I was wary of so rinse well, plus using dark towels will help.

Works well, looks natural, but you need to leave it in for a while to get best results. I recommend giving it a good 30 minute 'soak' initially, perhaps a couple of times just to get the beard to your desired darkness, then apply shorter 'top ups' after that, once or twice a week, make sure you target the roots. Oddly, unlike the 'head hair' version which you can pick up in supermarkets for £7, it seems that the beard shampoo isn't readily available in the UK. I have purchased a couple of times in the past from a marketplace seller here and received a 'pack of two' each time, so this was just about reasonable value (worked out around £10 a tube). However I just purchased again, this time from a different seller and immediately received a message informing me that I would only receive a pack of 1, 'as per the product image'. They claim the product title is incorrect.

As others have commented although listing clearly shows it's a ''pack of two'' only one tube was sent. After contacting seller they did refund 50% of the purchase price, so I am happy with that. As for the product, it works, although my hair has a nice salt and pepper look, my beard and mustache are totally grey, After using this product while taking a shower for a week or so my beard and mustache now match my hair and it looks totally natural without appearing to be dyed. One suggestion use disposable gloves while applying the product to protect your finger nails from staining.

Excellent product and service.First time using the beard version.Safe and very effective, gives the perfect balanced look by slowly turning the grey into black.

I will have to wait a little longer to see if it works. Week 3 and only seems to dye my hair with every wash.

I tried many dyes all off them make itching only this product amazing , if you want fast result just keep rhe shampoo on your beard until dry

This works great for me. I use it twice a week and it looks natural. I'd give it five stars if it wasn't for the fact that I, like other reviewers, only received one box in the order. They refunded half the cost, but it took me two times to get any action. Even at this price there are cheaper options to buy on Amazon.
