Q: Are the clamps stainless? If so what grade?

The clamps are stainless, however I do not know the grade unfortunately.

Q: Does this require teflon tape, or some other tape, to make a good seal with the clamps?

Generally teflon tape is only used for threaded connections. Typically you would have a barbed connection with clamps for tubing like this though certain specialty connectors might work too.

Q: Can this be clamped shut completely? I need to replace the tubing in ny water cooler and it works by clamping down on the tube when i'm not dispensing

The tubing is very stout. You won’t be able to clamp it shut completely without damaging it.

Q: How many psi can this line hold?
