I researched a lot of fans before deciding on the Vornado VFAN Jr., and I can confidently say this is the best one out there. I absolutely love this fan! If you are tired of cluttering your workspace with cheap, rattling plastic appliances, this Vornado VFAN Jr. is the upgrade you have been waiting for. I honestly cannot overstate how much I love this fan. It strikes the perfect balance between functional office equipment and vintage décor. Build Quality and Aesthetics: The first thing that strikes you when you unbox this is the weight. It feels incredibly substantial and sturdy. Unlike standard fans that rattle and tip over, this is constructed with heavy metal that signifies quality. The Vintage White finish is stunning and gives off a beautiful, authentic retro aesthetic. It looks incredibly professional sitting on my desk, elevating the entire look of the room. Performance and Airflow: Do not let the "Jr." size fool you; this little machine is powerful. It does exactly what Vornado claims it will do regarding air circulation. • Immediate Cooling: When I first turn it on, it cools me down super quickly. The airflow is focused and strong. • Smart Circulation: Because it is so powerful, I actually prefer to use the adjustable tilt head to point the fan upwards and away from me. This creates a gentle room circulation that keeps the air moving without blasting me directly in the face, which is perfect for preventing dry eyes while working at a computer. Noise Level: For a fan with a metal blade and housing, I was expecting some rattle, but it is super quiet!!! It doesn’t even make a white noise that I can hear …I legit cannot hear it at all. Final Thoughts: I cannot recommend this enough to anyone looking for quality. It does not just blow air, it circulates it super efficiently while looking great. If you appreciate heavy-duty construction and vintage style, this is absolutely worth the investment.

This Vornado VFan Jr. Vintage is Soooo!!! beautiful, I'm very pleased!! I bought it. What more can I say about the fan? Don't expert a piece of plastic garbage, it's made out of very solid material, as everything was in the 1940's, the air that comes out is surprisingly cool, true it doesn't blow your hair away, but as I did say it's pleasantly cool. We've got a very old 1970's big fan (ugly)with four settings, this blows more vigourously, but the air that comes out is less cool, than the Jr. Vintage. It's perfect for the small table next to my bed, enough to get by on a hot summer day, even on the lower setting. I'm pretty sure one can't find a fan so beautiful & efficiënt for this kind of price. The only slightly negative thing I possibly could come up with is that the fan isn't totally silent, but the noise is very acceptabele, honestly! Nowadays I know about a fan almost totally silent costing 5 times the price and very ugly. Honestly this little fan is extremely stylish. By the way people living in Europe who want to buy this have to bear in mind that in the U.S. it's 120V. you''ll have to buy a very small transformer more or less the size of mobile phone adaptor, easily found on the internet. (220V towards 110V). This is inexpensive realy, around 10 euro. If not bang!!! Regret a lot, something so beautiful could go to pieces, only a small handiness to prevent it from happening. Also the plug in system is different but it's all on the small adaptor. You have to buy your fan first and then see on the internet what you need, easy you'll see, if not sure ask the online shop to be on the safe side. Sounds a bit complicated but it's goiing to be very simple. I'm gonna take very much care of this fan, cause I love it!! Roxanne.

Vornado is a great brand; I've had several of their fans over the years and this lives up to my expectations. The reto look is really cool! It looks great on the end table in my living room. I wanted a small fan but I didn't think I would find one this neat looking. You can tip it so it's facing up to circulate the air in the room, or point it forward to blow on you like you would with a normal fan. The breeze can be put on a mellow setting or you can turn it to a brisk one. It's very effective. The fan is very quiet which some people don't like because they want it to make white noise for sleeping. I would agree if that was my purpose, but since it's in my living room I appreciate the way it's silent. All the moving parts, including the function that allows you to point the fan where you want, are very smooth and solid. They're a good indicator of the high quality of it. My only complaint is that the switch to turn it on or adjust the speed, is on the back which means you have to reach way around, or turn the fan to use it. That's a real pain in the butt, but it's not a deal breaker. Overall, I really recommend the Vornado fan!

Quiet. Retro and cool looking. Fairly strong and blows air around to get rid of the stale kitty litter air. I can hear the high setting a bit but it’s soothing and not obnoxious.

A bit smaller than expected but it is worth it in air output. I like it as it is sturdy and durable. It looks cool and works good for its small size. I would go with the bigger 3 speed version if you want full body cooling, this is more of a small desk wind in the face type fan. It is quiet Cons no auto oscillation, speeds are in backwards order 1-low, 2- high-speed, - off. Instead of correct Off - 1- low, 2- high-speed.

Perfecto si buscas un ventilador para el escritorio o un buró. Es pequeño y muy bonito con una alta calidad en los materiales. La primera velocidad es silenciosa y con poca potencia, pero con la segunda basta para el uso personal.

These were the exact words I received from the persom this was gifted to. I also bought the medium size and will exchange it for the Jr. Such a powerful, quiet and well designed fan. Jr will fit comfortably on my my desk in my quiet room.

This product is not designed for UK use and should not be sold in the UK in it's current form. Worked for 2 minutes or so then started producing smoke. Potential fire hazard.
