Good Saw for $88!!!
For $88, this little beast did not disappoint. This is a good saw for the homeowner, small trees and backyard chores. The saw also has the guts for medium trees, but that would be pushing the saw if used extensively for medium trees. The saw started after 5 pulls, which is excellent. The saw arrived having the carb set way TOO lean. The saw bogged when hitting the throttle. But about a half turn out (counterclockwise) on the "L" screw of the carb fixed that issue quickly. Next I backed out (counterclockwise) the "Idle" screw (the Phillips screw) bringing the idle down from about 4,000 RPMs to 2800 RPMs. Now the throttle jumps from idle to full throttle without bogging down as it should when popping the trigger. The top-end RPMs were way too high (lean) around 14000 RPM. For those not knowing, a saw running too lean/fast will quickly score (ruin) the piston and cylinder...much better to have a bit rich than too lean. Backed out (counterclockwise) the "H" screw about 3/4 turn richening up the top end fuel mix, and slowing down the top-end RPMs. Now the saw tops out at 9800 RPMs, which is perfectly in line with the spec for this saw's engine. BTW, I checked with a Tachometer. The chain is reasonably sharp out of the box, and the saw and chain went thru a 5" log without issue, pulling the saw into the log which says it has good power for its size. The saw also went thru a 10" log just fine, just a bit slower understandably. If you are expecting a saw with the quality of a Stihl or Husqvarna, this is NOT your saw. It's an $88 Chinese saw of lesser quality. I won't be abusing this saw like I would a higher quality saw. Regarding longevity, time will tell. But I suspect as long as the saw's carb is properly tuned, I keep the chain sharp, the saw is not used for long periods of time without being allowing to cool down, and you take the pains not to drop or otherwise physically jar the plastics, I expect this saw to last quite a while. Yes I would recommend this saw providing the above is followed.

Love this little saw
Man it works great. It’s the second one we bought (because we wanted another, not because we had to). It’s small and light weight so the wife is more comfortable with it. I know it’s not a Stihl, but it costs way less and so far we have zero complaints. The first saw we have used for over a year and it still works great. I expect this one will last too.

Impressive Saw.
First off I want to start that I read the reviews before purchasing. I did as everyone else and assembled the guide bar and chain, then double checked all the bolts and screws. The photos show this saw in comparison with an old Homelite XL saw. Only knock I have is it is cheaply built but it is to be expected for an $80ish chainsaw. This thing rips!! It started the second pull after I added fuel and primed it. It is loud but not a huge deal because so was the homelite it replaced.Time will tell if it lasts! One drop could probably easily put this out of service and crack the plastic body.I am going to use it to keep bushes and trees in check and for camping. Perfect size to put on a side by side as well.Just buy this saw you won’t regret it.

Excellent saw for the cost.
Purchased this for smaller work around my property. Read some mixed reviews about bolts coming out, so as soon as it arrived we went over it and made sure everything was tight before starting. Rather than use 25/1 mixed gas as the instructions tell you to, I've run 40/1 mix using Klotz synthetic oil with absolutely no issues to speak of. So far I have maybe 10 tanks of fuel through it and not one issue. Starts quick in the Minnesota winter at -20 and doesn't miss a beat. Light weight, easy starting and easy to use. Bar oil consumption is more than most saws it's size, however compared to bars and chains it's cheaper and I can live with that being it's only flaw.

Fantastic little saw
I bought this little guy mostly for delimbing after falling a tree. Now I love finding things to chop up just so I can use it. This little chainsaw is a Powerhouse. I have previously only owned Stihl chainsaws, but this has become my new favorite. I pulled the choke a bit too hard and ended up removing the choke pull, so I replaced it with a small piece of Steel cable and it was right back in action. I would recommend this all to any beginner or experienced tree work or enthusiast. Small and light enough for just about anyone to comfortably handle, but strong enough to meet and exceed anyone's expectations. Anyone that does not have an extremely positive review on this product did not receive the same product that I did or they don't know their ass from a hole in the groundPERIOD.

Arrived defective/broken and waiting for a response...
Defective parts. Side cover will not bolt on with muffler installed as it comes in contact with side cover. Chain/bar cover arrived broken. You must know how to tune a 2 stroke carb to get this running. Definitely not turn key out of the box and will be waiting for a resolution to my issues from the seller. As of now 1 star.

Great little saw !
It’s a perfect little saw for above ground use ! I took off the 12” bar and put on a 14” and it still has the power to get the job done ! High , over center handle makes it balanced and less tiring for long usage …… I’m thinking of even putting a 16” bar and chain on it because it has the muscle to pull it ……. Great saw for the $ !!!
