Very sturdy mount & it was sort of easy to install
Very sturdy and well made. Packaging and item protection were very good. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.Notes:- The instructions are good, not perfect, but if you take a moment to look at the parts and pre-assemble it before starting, you’ll notice all 4 pieces can only fit together in one way, given how they purposely designed the connecting ends to be different. Any other way of trying will prove to be a fruitless struggle.- It comes with 2 sizes of the “U” bracket, with the smaller diameter one already attached to the other parts. As I needed the bigger one it was no effort to switch out.- On the inside of the “U” bracket are small zig-zag rubber shims to help hold it tighter to the bar - with mine I needed to use the included extra shims, …..-but this is where I think some may run into a snag. There are indentations for the placement of the specially designed shims, but unlike the existing installed ones, they attach at an angle for better grip as you tighten the mounting screw. If you don’t push it all the way into the indentation, squeezing the bracket to assemble it on the bar will be more difficult. In my case, as this is an older building, the pipe was somewhat undersized so the bracket wasn’t quite snug enough, so I added 1 more of the extra shims to only one side, directly on top of the one I had just installed (closest to the bracket opening), which then helped tighten it all up to the rail perfectly.- As far as the bracket lever goes, if you pre-fit the assembly, you can adjust it to fit with the wand holder facing forward, wide end up, and the lever to be parallel to the wall, so it won’t be projecting into the shower potentially injuring someone.- I’d suggest keeping the extra shims and the other “U” bracket on hand, as over time and use -if continuously slide it up and down the rail for the different heights of people- it might eventually loosen up, and you then can use the extra shims (and if needed the shims from inside the unused bracket), to refresh its grip.

Easy to install
Purchased a home with handicapped shower facilities. Good replacement when the original holder gave out. Easy to install and the right price. Probably will not be used frequently, so it should hold up well for its purposes. Most importantly, I didn't have to remove the tile in order to install it; slips easily onto the existing bar.

Top Notch, Once You Get It Installed.
Disclosure: I cannot look at an assembly, and immediately see how it fits together, like some people can. I often have trouble matching instruction sheets to the actual objects. Therefore, I did have trouble getting the shower wand holder together. I wish there had been at least one more illustration, at step 5, to show how everything should look when it is lined so the screw cap will go on. But once I got it together, it installed perfectly around a vertical grab bar. There's not much room between the grab bar and the wall, so it's possible to accidentally hit the locking lever, which loosens the holder so it slides around. I'll have to show any guests that it's a simple matter to push the lever back up, in case this happens. This was definitely worth the difficulty in getting the parts together correctly. I had gotten a new one-piece shower wand that can also be used as a shower head. The bathroom tended to get flooded, unless you were holding the wand, since it couldn't be angled in the upright position. This solves the problem. Now when the water is turned on, the force of the stream hits the back wall. It's also more convenient when you are using the wand and need to pause--to soap up, add shampoo, etc.

Not Usable on 1" grab bar - To large.
This does not work for a grab bar that is small than 1 1/4 inch in diameter. Had to return mine. However we have one on a bar in another shower that has a 1 1/4" bar and it's fine, works great and is sturdy on a horizontal bar. It did loosen up on a vertical bar, always fell to the bottom of the bar, wouldn't stay up so wouldn't recommend it for it's sliding ability. Good price and good item in the right circumstance. A bit hard to install, must squeeze tightly and screw on the final part, took 2 people, one to squeeze it together while 2nd person screwed piece on.

Direct Replacement
The product was easy to install and came with 2 different size pole mounting brackets. I looked fir these a while back and was never able to find one. The end cap was lost for my old shower holder and has been sitting at the bottom of the tub for a year or so as a replacement end cap was not available. I got the entire assembly for what I expected to pay for the end cap. Great product!
