Torch Lighters Triple Jet Flame Cigar Lighter Refillable Butane Lighter 2 Pack, Butane not Included (Purple & Blue)

These triple flame lighteres work very well lighting my cigars. I have used more expensive lighters in the past but I've found that a waste of money. These perform just as well and cost a lot less. One feature I especially like is that you can see exactly how much butane is in the lighters with no guess work. Quick Tip: I have seen other cigar smokers throw away butane lighters that they thought no longer worked. Often this is because after repeated fillups the nonflammable propellant gas builds up in the tank and it does not burn. The propellant also makes it impossible to refill the tank with butane. When this happens all you need to do is to discharge all the propellant gas in the tank by pressing on the insert tube until nothing comes out. Then you can fill the tank with butane and you're good to go. When necessary (before every fillup?) just rinse and repeat...

First off, these lighters are great. Super hot, super simple, just great.But beware, as you can (hopefully) see in the pics, they WILL ignite with the cap closed. Meaning if one is jostling around inside your pack or pocket and it gets pressed just right, you'd be on fire in a matter of seconds...That being said, they have a flame adjustment on the bottom. Turned all the way down to the minimum, the valve is closed, thus disabling ignition.So, if you're gonna carry these in a pack or B.O.B, I'd highly recommend either keep the valve turned off until needed, or secure in a small hard sided container. The box they come in is fairly sturdy.And if you're gonna keep one in your jeans pocket for everyday use, well, just be careful when you squat lol

It’s the perfect size very easy to hold onto. I don’t use it for cigars however, I do use it while out on the boat against the wind. Only downside to this particular lighter is that I can’t turn it any lower or it won’t ignite. It has the capability to go lower but, like I stated above you won’t get it to light or it will go out. Having 3 jets makes it strong already so being able to go lower would be helpful. It gets very hot very quickly be careful of the metal it will burn your skin or your clothing if you’re not aware of how hot it is until it’s to late.

I’m not sure what warmth or thickness has to do with this product, unless your buying them to heat your room. I bought them to light my wood stove. I’ve had refillable lighters before. Maybe I didn’t have the best technique to fill them, but these are better than expected. Love the flame and being able to control the size. It’s so much better than I expected. I haven’t had it long enough, so I may change my mind down the road, but for now it’s better than any refillable lighters I’ve owned.

I was excited to see how nice these were when I opened the package. They seem well built. But, they are NOT windless. Just a small puff from your mouth, and they will go out. Also, these butane lighters get weak depending on the temperature. If its a nice 70 degrees or higher they work flawlessly, but if its about 60 degrees outside or less, it may take you a few times to get it to flame up...and its a weak flame at that. You would think with 3 torches in these lighters, it would be windless and a throw hard flame all the time. They do not! If you are outside, keep them in your pocket to keep them warm and they will work correctly. Its not just these I have read, its all butane lighters that do this, so keep that in mind. For that, I am not going to ding with a low star rating just average.

This was a gift and was fully enjoyed by a family member. Have purchased these twice already and will likely buy more!

Why in the world are these lighters an "Amazon's Choice" item..?!?.. They are complete JUNK.The only reason I even bought is because I really thought It was going to save Money and Time & Energy that would otherwise be wasted hopping from one place to another in search of one actually worth the effort..I also didn't buy these for myself, I got them as a favor for my brother. They are defective items that will not take any butane.. And YES, I used a pin to push in the valve to release the air thats inside of the tank. And Yes, the nozzle is the appropriate size. And yes, quality butane was used.. And yes it was turned down before attempting to fill.. 5 defferent people have tried to make them work to no avail. Anyways, I told my brother to just throw them away. It's not worth the added hassle or aggravation to return. Wish I could give this negative 5 starts. Giving even one star is being way too generous!
