Lots of people have leaking issues with these, but if you pour slow and properly at the very beginning while the breather gets suction going, you won't spill a drop. I love how robust these are and won't snap off like the plastic spouts that come with a lot of Nato cans these days.Pouring tip: Put this nozzle on your jerry can securely and verify that it seats good. bend the filler neck over about 90 degrees. Put the tip of of the nozzle in your vehicle's gas tank filler tube, lift up the nato can as high as you can while keeping the nozzle pointed down and still in the vehicle filler tube. Make sure the breather hole (right near the base of the flexible neck) is pointed UPWARDS. SLOWLY start letting some gas pour down this spout until you can hear the air start sucking in the breather tube. Now you can invert the nato can and get full pour volume while not spilling any gas because the breather tube is doing its job.

Very good Jerry can spout. I wasn’t too thrilled with the safety spouts for filling my cars gas tank... would get gas all over me... At first I got gas all over me with this Long-nose spout... it has a hole in the top of the spout near the can to let air out as you are pouring... I just had to change my technique. I started with a maximum bend in the spout as I lifted the can and inserted the spout to the gas tank port... then I slowly lift to pour... after I raise the can about 1-2 more inches to increase the rate of flow, I quickly straighten the bendable spout and lift up the can and the can dumps all 5 gallons of gas in to the tank in about 5 seconds... and without spilling... It’s like a beer bong for your car! Awesome spout for filling your car’s gas tank!

At $34 it is too pricey for the one function that it provides, albeit well, so why did I buy one? Because I hate all the ones that don't work and I have cumulatively spent much more on cheap plastic spouts than this one cost. This will last a lifetime as long as I don't lose it, so I'm going to attach this spout to a wire/chain and attach it to the can. This and the Wavian gas can will last longer than my lifetime, I might even leave it to someone in my will.

With the CARB requirements making fuel filling more difficult, having this as a spare is worth it. I already have one of these filler tubes and it is perfect to fill your car, mower, or any other equipment without concern about leaks, spills, or slow ‘glugging’. The tip is small enough to easily fit into a car filler. It also comes with a gasket, spare mount, and even has a screen embedded inside the filler neck to keep critters and large debris out.

I had to grind the breather tube diameter down with my Dremel. It was too thick to go into the breather tube of my NATO Jerry cans. I also had to grind away some of the cam lock parts so it could hook into the loops on the can better. It was not holding very tight.

Gaskets could be of better quality. The flexible spout does not attach to standard gas cans from the same manufacturer. Will probably order another to make sure I have a spare on hand in case it gets misplaced.

I use this to empty 5 gallon cans into my tractor. It works great and empties the whole 5 gallons in well under a minute which is great when I am loading 15-20 gallons at a time. Connecting and disconnecting is a breeze. I wish the clip held the nozzle in place better when its not in use but its not really that big of a deal.

I ordered this to replace the plastic flexible nozzle that came with my Army Surplus NATO can. The latch is is different shape, and no matter how hard I tried to engage it, it would not close. It is a different shape latch than my original one. I had to return this one.
