My doctor indicated that I had low stored iron and recommend me to take an over-the-counter iron tablet. After reading the reviews I selected this one because it seems not to have caused any problems for other people who have taken it. I am on about my seventh bottle since that time and I have had the same good results as many other people - my repeat blood tests came back with the problem resolved and I feel better. I was concerned since people had reported gastric issues with Vitron-C. However I have had no such problems after weeks of use. I did have a mild iron taste for the first few days, but that too has gone away.
