Please note that machine or hand washing may affect the appearance of the natural wool fibers and the leather pelt. After washing, the wool fibers will likely revert back to their natural curly state. Brushing with a wire wool comb when wet, and once dry, will help restore the fluffy appearance and natural "loft" of the fibers.

Buyer beware
Buyer beware, are these the rest of these reviews fake? I own many things that are genuine sheepskin including chair covers boots jackets Etc and this most definitely is not genuine I was highly disappointed to open the package and feel the low quality of this item I can't believe I paid $100 for this. Coming from China I don't know what to expect but I feel duped. The description says genuine sheepskin it is 100% a lie.

Actually looks like the photos!
For once a rug that is actually as plush as the photos. This rug is amazing! It is at least 2 inches thick. It is a fabulous texture, and a beautiful off white color, NOT a faux over bleached white. It has suede backing, so I worried about my dogs slipping on it when they try to jump on the bed, but it's so heavy it doesn't even require a rug pad, and stays right in place. It's excellent padding for when they jump off too. It's in incredibly glam!

Full and lush; skin is stiff and it mats down quickly
I'm quite pleased with these (I bought two in the beige color). The fur is long and lush, and they are bigger than I expected. The skin is fairly stiff, but this is not generally noticeable.I put them on the couch, sit on them while watching TV, etc. But after just one day, I could see the fur beginning to twist and mat. The natural state of the fur is very curly, so the lush long fur is achieved by serious factory grooming. I found that the brush I used for my cat works quite well to brush it out, but it is a tedious chore.By comparison, I have long used smaller "Lamby's" to sit on. The fur is shorter and curly, and needs no maintenance.

Very pretty!
So plush and very thick nice rug!! Used it to go in front of my baby's crib in her nursery and I love it!!!

It's OK - Took 2 months to get
This took 2 months to receive. The seller in China did communicate that there were shipping problems and gave me a $20 credit. It is quite small and not very plush but clean and OK

A very beautiful bed spread
A very beautiful bed spread, at least that is what I am using it for. I washed it to get the slight smell out of it using UN-stopables by Downy, and it worked great. It is an authentic pelt rug that feels soft, and is beautiful on my bed.
