If you need to keep content - notes on a subject that you will need for continued reference in the future or your diary for posterity if that is your thing - then you need three key facets in a notebook. First, it has to have a solidly-constructed wire binding because if it doesn't then the spine will break and you will lose various of the pages over time, I guarantee it, or the pages just detach themsleves at random. Second, you need it with hard covers because if they aren't you can't write properly anywhere you want, such as on your knee sitting somewhere, on a bed, in a car and so on. And third, you need good quality paper, otherwise you won't be able to access the content easily because the pages will cling together, ink will bleed through to the other side of the pages, and the pages will curl. I have been using these notebooks ever since I was at university (27 years ago, somewhat disconcertingly) and the ones that I have kept from back then are still in pristine condition, with the writing inside clear, the pages flat, and every page intact.

Durable, user friendly binding, top quality paper. Just the job for out-and-about note taking.

I have used these notebooks for years and they are a great way of keeping records over a long period. Unfortunately Amazon delivered it to a communal hallway and not our address, so they didn't actually deliver it. Other than that no problems.

Without these my life would be a mess lol.

Not the cheapest notebooks out there but I really like them a lot. The paper is good quality and nice to write on. I like that they can open and fold flat, unlike other notebooks. The construction is good - very good, actually. These don't fall apart on you. I like being able to remove and discard used pages. The only thing I would like to see added is a perforated edge so that pages come out cleanly. I use the A4 and A5 notebooks all the time. Love them!
