Battery Prog Brain (T2) is an innovative and affordable accessory that installs on any battery to ensure you will always have enough power to start your motor. It is the ideal solution for any vehicle/boat by protecting expensive electronics and devices as well. Using unique micro-technology the Battery Protector continually monitors the battery power disconnecting the battery from the electrical system at a predetermined level. This model offers manual or remote control reconnection by simply lifting the hood to press the button to reconnect power or pressing the button on the remote control. All power reconnects then start your vehicle safely without great downtime or expense. Identify issues before they become a problem by knowing when a power drain has occurred. Complete power drains shorten the life of any battery. It can happen in any climate, in hot or cold weather. Battery Brain is wholly owned by Smart Energy Solutions, Inc., a public company that manufactures in Israel, China and Italy and products are fully supported by customer service technicians. The installation process is easy for the owner or a qualified service technician with multiple mounting configurations possible for each model. All hardware required for optional mounts is included, the only tools required are wrench and screwdriver. This model is for 12V 6V- 24V SINGLE battery vehicles/ boats and features universal frequency remote (great for multiple vehicle with single owner) and manual reconnection for back up.

Battery Protector (T2)
I bought this item because I was having a problem with my old 94 Olds starting on a regular basis, nothing worse than shooting dice when it comes to starting your car. Anyway, the directions were simple enough, but because I had front mounted battery posts (GM-why did you do that anyway?) I attached the ground wire to the frame of the car and not to the ground post of the battery simply because that was the easier route to go, you have to have tiny little wrenches and tiny little hands to get to the front of that battery. I feel that the manufacturer should include a big enough solderless connector to attach to the ground post, I had to get my own and improvise (McGiver) to get it on right, anyhow-that cured the problem and the device has worked flawlessly ever since. Car starts right up every time. This device is along the "lines of the old Battery Buddy", but with the old BB, you'd have to pop the hood-reset the circuit breaker, close the hood and then re-start the car. This one is totally automatic and hands free. I give it a very good rating. Parker Diamond-Hampton, NH

So worth it.
This saved my butt a couple of weeks after I purchased it. As I was boarding a plane, my wife called me to say she used the remote that is comes with to reactivate the battery and start the mini-van. So there was no need to beg a neighbor to come over and try jump the battery. Oh yeah, I'm the hero!

Look, this might work. Mine, however, shipped without the "black engine on" cable, something which is [according to the directions] crucial to the proper working of this equipment. By the time I had time to try and install this and opened the box up, the Amazon return window was already past. I'm contacting the manufacturer to see if there's any recourse. If you do end up getting this, it might be worth your while to also pick up a battery terminal cover [to ensure your positive terminal isn't exposed], as this doesn't come with one.

Battery Brain Silver model
Installed as directed, lasted three weeks and the remote stopped working. Purchased pack of two new 12v batteries for $8 and with new battery still not working. Finally called manufacturer and was told the alternator in my Ford pickup was causing problems and I should return the unit for a newer model replacement . That was 2 weeks ago and no sign of it since.............

Saved Me Big Time
Everyone should have one of these. There is no need for getting stranded. This is well worth the money! I think probably in the future these will come standard on vehicles (or should).Great Investment!!
