Apple should look at one of these
Bought this for an iMac. I was fed up with the horizontal swipe on the Apple mouse constantly causing spreadsheets to disappear accidentally. This mouse is attractively made and very comfortable. It doesn't have the inertia feature of the Apple mouse but you soon get used to the scrolling stopping when you do. Where it really wins over the Apple mouse is the logical positioning of the charging port. With the Satechi you can carry on using it while charging, with the Apple you can't because it's underneath. Crazy.

Rattled - loose (extra) screw within casing
Although I like the M1 mouse, only one star due to poor quality control - no extra stars will be awarded for providing a extra 'spare screw' within the mouse.I needed to replace my original M1 mouse (which I was very happy with until it was squashed (damaged) by a heavy falling book). The new M1 mouse arrived within the delivery window, it was well packaged.I opened the box and immediately noticed a rattle from within the mouse, I didn't want to go through the tedious return and replace process (and be without a mouse for any longer than necessary) so I decided to open the mouse and release the foreign object.I carefully pealed back the crescent shaped wear pads on the base of the mouse to reveal 3 screws holding the case together, the case was easy to open.At the rear of the mouse are two small stacked weights that give the mouse a tactile and positive feel. The weights are held in place by two small pan head screws, removing the weights released a third (loose) pan head screw that was captured between the weights and the case shell.Mouse is now back together and functioning perfectly, slight creases on the crescent wear pads that I had to lift to access the case screws.

Beautiful product that stopped working
The mouse was perfect when I bought it, easy to use, nice, charging via USB-C, good responsive. But I left it on my desk for 3 weeks and when I came back to it, it just did not work. The charging did not response, charging light did not come on, it could not be turned on. Two months since buying it just stopped working. Amazon is probably aware of the issue as they managed to issue me refund immediately even though the window for return was already closed. Too bad, I would be very satisfied with it if it kept working.

Looks great, feels solid, connects to Mac easily via bluetooth
I have only had mouse for a couple of days. I waited for weeks for it to become available as it had good reviews looked like it was designed primarily for MacBooks and matches my new space grey Mac.I have not been disappointed so far. The mouse connected easily to my 2019 MacBook, looks and feels well made and in use all day yesterday was faultless. If I had a criticism it would be the shape of the mouse, it’s a little flat and as such not as ergonomic as it could be, but this would not stop me buying this mouse again or recommend it. The slimness of the design is a benefit in some ways to me as normally I travel to do my job and this means the mouse is easier to pack.

Lasted 4 months
This is a great looking mouse. Aluminium alloy construction with a quality feel, is smooth to use and has an anodised finish which matches the MacBook well. I was happily using the mouse every day for 4+ months during which time it was kept continually charged. One day it just stopped working and I could no longer tether it. The red optical sensor and blue lights would still light up when buttons were pressed so I don't believe it was an issue with the built in li-ion batter; it just would not connect. If you don't mind a wired USB-C mouse for the MacBook I recommend the great value Perixx perimive-201C.

great mouse!
Great mouse that works perfectly with the MacBook and matches the colour, it also costs only a sensible amount of money compared to the apple Magic Mouse. The charger port is in the front of the device so you can charge while using it, unlike the apple Magic Mouse. The scroll wheel is a metal knurled wheel that looks and feels cool in an industrial way, but does not have the same levels of comfort as a rubberised plastic wheel on some mice - if that kind of thing bothers you.

Just not a good mouse
If you need to use with more that one computer, avoid this mouse as it seems to only be able to pair with one at a time, with seemingly no ability to toggle which device its paired to.Also its very small, like a child's mouse.

It works and comfortable
Finding someone like a computer mouse to buy is a nightmare. So many different choices and vastly different price points with all having similar reviews.I chose this because it was significantly cheaper than apple variants, works with new Mac and looked good.I’ve not been disappointed and very happy with my purchase.
