must-have for Rust Bullet paints ( also a potential hack for Rust Bullet paint can lids)
I live in a 110-year-old house close to the ocean in San Francisco and Rust Bullet is my go-to rusty metal paint for ferrous metals that are rusting on the house as well as rust on my 1988 Volvo 240DL. I didn't know the solvent existed as, as others have said, nothing else will clean up Rust Bullet or thin it quite like their own solvent. It has allowed me to clean up minor spills, clean cheap brushes between multiple coats, and perhaps even prevent the infamous Rust Bullet paint can lids from fusing shut when you aren't using the product for a while. I still need to experiment with this technique further but I think it might work. I've used Bloxgen inside the can once it's been opened but the lid will still stick if I don't use my Rust Bullet right away. I am experimenting with leaving a shallow reservoir of Rust Bullet solvent in the paint can lip to see if it might prevent the lid from fusing shut (which, as many of you know, forces us to destroy the can when reopening it). Kitchen plastic wrap could also potentially work to prevent the lid from sticking shut (?).

It's a rust bullet product
It's a rust bullet product. I've used the rust bullet treatments in the past with full satisfaction. Unlike other products specifically rust "encapsulators" which require laborious treatments of rusted surfaces.. bullet works with minimal prep. Onto the rust bullet thinner. While not used yet, I'm expecting the following: that 5% thinning ratio will allow Rust Bullet to freely spray through a pneumatic spray gun. Hoping cleanup to be easier of application equipment used. Not affect the durability of the actual Rust Bullet rust stop product. Rust Bullet is VERY difficult to clean up after it dries. Always wear gloves. I'm hoping this product will earn the high rating I gave it and act well with both cleanup and thinning.

Good but didn’t work great
Didn’t quite work as well for me. Definitely a strong solvent though.

Use Rust Bullet Correctly For Best Results
A little more expensive but the best solvent for Rust Bullet epoxy paints. Don't use more than 5 percent to thin paints otherwise it will cause "Solvent Pop". This is because all the solvent has to evaporate (4 hours) before epoxy hardens, otherwise solvent and will try to escape through the epoxy, causes bubbles. Use for quick cleanup of equipment, can be followed by less expensive lacquer thinner.

No seal, probably returned item
No seal on container, so package was soaked in solvent, out of 32 oz, lost probably 8 oz.

Good value
This stuff is the best if you want to remove paint or anything that been sitting to long Just don’t use it on plastic or acrylic
