My golf cart works again!!!
The difference between my 1993 Yamaha golf cart working and not working is this spark plug cap!!! I bought the cart used at the beginning of the summer...as is...and I was very afraid that I'd wasted a chunk of money. Sometimes it worked, more often it didn't! My neighbors and even two licensed mechanics had tried everything: draining the gas, replacing the spark plug cables, charging the battery. It would work for a while, then suddenly wouldn't start again. This went on for nearly the entire summer. And then a friend happened to look at the old spark plug cap...and made the suggestion (a genius, this friend!) to replace the spark plug cap. He told me exactly what to look for, and I was thankful to find this NGK LB05E Resistor Spark Plug Cape for only $5 on Amazon!! Such a little item, and yet so useful. It was very easy to install (just remove the old one and attach to the cables) and voila! the cart worked perfectly. And it continued to work for the rest of the summer. The cap is constructed from lightweight plastic and was packaged well when I received it. The price was amazing, especially when compared to others (much more expensive!) I had seen at stores and on the internet. I'm delighted!

this worked to replace bad cap instead of buying a whole new coil
This little product saved my old Sears push mower, and I didn't have to buy a completely new ignition coil just to replace the bad plug cap since they are all one part. It is so easy to install; it screws onto the end of the cable after cutting off the old cap and is designed to clamp onto the cable the further on it is screwed. I have had no issues switching to a resistor plug.
