Odyson - Trackpad (w/Screws & flexures) Replacement for MacBook Pro 15" Unibody A1286 (2009-2012)

Ordered from PC Parts Unlimited and the trackpad went in easy and most importantly worked great! 7 year old computer now has a working trackpad I can use when carrying it around and sure beats spending $2000 on a new computer.

Used looked new. Came pretty quick, a day sooner then expected. Works find, looks good. Had to pull a little trick to install (not a trackpad problem). Worth it.

Trackpad was as advertised. It fit my 2012 MacBook Pro and works like new.

Don't buy this trackpad. Given all the work you will have to do to install it, buy the best you can get. This trackpad is not an original Apple trackpad as advertised. It has a rough surface, not the silky smooth like a real Apple. Also, it is insensitive to tapping. Sometimes it accepts a tap but most of the time it won't sense anything. I've given up tapping and gone back to pressing to click. Multiple times I move my finger over the pad and the mouse doesn't move. If I had to do it all over again, I'd spend the extra $35 and get one straight from Apple.
