R12/134a
Worked well for an 1971 GM car trying to hook a set of gauges to the high side valve, as it was poineted at the fender and needed a 90. These adapters will help if your trying to check pressure on an R12 system/schrader valve.

Totally worked on my 1965 Ford
Just used the low pressure adapter. PO had filled the York system with R-134a and over the years some had leaked out. The elbow design allowed me to attach a hose, then a quarter turn of the compressor lock valve and the juice started flowing. !00% satisfied customer except it was ten days getting here insted of two.

Exactly What Was Needed
I needed fittings for connecting to my home HVAC system, which is similar to the R22 connections. These worked perfectly so I could use my R134 gauges to pull a vacuum on the system. NOTE: R134 gauges not used for reading system pressures.

Both high pressure low pressure couplings are same size, check yours before ordering.
If you are working on a early 90's toyota the low pressure (suction side) fitting will not fit on the OEM dryer fitting. You will have to use an adapter. I did like the 90 deg brass fittings. Be careful on the high side fitting as it sticks up almost 2" and barely clears when the hood is closed. I found a 1/4" x 3/8 flare fitting on amazon to allow you to hook up the R134 cans & service it.
