Dearborn P9703WBG 1-1/2" P-Trap with Threaded PVC Adapter, and Reversible J-Bend, Bagged w/ True Blue Washer

Had no trouble with this. Just needed the gaskets and rings, but they worked well the first attempt with no leaks. Shipped quickly and all parts there. Seems like a quality product.

Installed a new bathroom vanity faucet set so removed the nasty 30 year old tubulars to mate up with the drain pipe and faucet. This is the third one I've installed but the first time using this product. I had leaks at the seams with the other sets and had to use plumber putty to keep drain water from leaking. The blue silicone seals in this set are far superior to anything I've used before. Finger tightening the connections and they sealed perfect the first run of water down the pipe. I will buy this set again when needed - for sure !!!

This kitchen trap is good quality, the seals provided are better than what typically comes with P Traps. The threads have a much tighter grip and the joints fit tightly. I noticed the listing stated that it was reversible. I would assume they are referring to rotating the trap, where the deep portion now faces the drain. With modern deep sinks the old drain is often too high on the wall to work with a trap installed as per standards.With most PVC P traps reversing the trap would either lead to it falling apart if it gets bumped, or a leak. The fittings on this trap along with the seals do appear it would hold well if placed this way, just in the event you are in this position. Of course you have other options that require more work, such as lowering the existing drain or making your own trap PVC trap and using a fernco rubber metal shielded union to mount it at the wall to allow for future service.If you wanted to avoid the extra work this p trap would be a great option and if you are using it as a standard install, don't hesitate it is a high quality product.With modern appliances such as deep sinks it is not uncommon to overlook the current drain height on the wall.

My p-trap finally rusted out in my kitchen and being that it's in an area enclosed by cupboard doors I thought I would get this one instead of another metal one.It seems that the metal ones being widely sold are becoming thinner and thinner even when they advertise as a thicker grade and they are rusting out quite quickly for people - so I'm trying this is an alternative.I was able to attach it to the metal pipes and it all worked out although I could not add the washer on one side because it would not thread closed all the way. Both sides are adequately closed though and not leaking so it all worked out for me.It's affordable and seems like it may be a better alternative these days if you have a closed sink area. Give it a try!

Appreciated the fact that this "kit" had all the parts need for a replacement of a "P" trap.

SOOO much better than the traps you get at HD or big box stores. Having rubber wahers at EVERY CONNECTION ensures no stubborn leaks. forget about those plastic on plastic connections that slow drip and drive you crazy.

Got the right parts with no problems

I am replacing a P trap in an older house. This P-trap features blue rubber washers, wedge shaped, but the "super nuts" have holes that are too large to retain the blue washers. When you tighten the super nuts, the blue washers pop partly out and prevent a flange to flange seal. There are no included flat washers to help hold the blue washers in place. The larger washer for the vertical drain pipe works better than the other side. I made this work by eliminating the blue washer on the far side of the vertical drain pipe.
