W Shape 8 Bottle Tabletop Wooden Wine Rack (Improved Oct. 2014)

Bought this as a gift for someone who always has wine on hand. This comes in pieces, which are fairly easy to put together. However one of the pieces I received was broken. Not wanting to go through boxing it back up and shipping back, then waiting for another, my husband used wood glue and glued it back together. This did the trick. It's still a little disappointing that the pieces are so thin they can crack/break that easily. Once this was put together it really does look nice.PROS:This isn't real big, therefore does not take up a lot of roomLooks nicePrice is greatCONS:Obviously easily breakableCannot hold larger bottles of wine (top section probably could but I'm not sure I'd trust it to)

Why did I choose this rating?Functional/Does the job and color is as expected, quality is at 3 stars. Nothing impressive here, as this was a typical "made in china" product (the packaging had no brand name and the quality of the wood and how to piece it together was just okay).What did I like?Does the job, as I mentioned. No unexpected surprises in color.What did I dislike?Quality of product was 3 stars. Perhaps my fault for not realizing, but this rack cannot be attached to a wall. With that being said, I couldn't put it on a book shelf, so I ended up having to use my kitchen table's limited real estate for this piece. Definitely not a piece you could impress guests with, as an fyi.

This was purchased as a gift for my mother. I will admit, I had a bit of trouble with the assembly and would have preferred if the rack came already assembled. Aside from that I like the design, I love the natural wood and it's a great piece to have in a kitchen or cellar. My mom has her's mounted to the wall in her kitchen and it looks great and has really come in handy. I recommend it as both a space saver and a great piece of decor.

Nice little rack. It was a little tricky to assemble. The instructions are just pictures. Reminded me of those wooden puzzles that came in Cracker Jack in the 1950's. LOL I just remodeled my kitchen and have an open bookcase under one set on upper cabinets. The rack fits perfectly and leaves enough room for my cookbooks.

Simple little rack for a few bottles of wine if you like to have up to 8 or 9 bottles on hand like me. I like wine but am not a kook about significant wine collecting. It takes up minimal space on my counter. Great for small spaces/kitchens. Seems sturdy enough for wine bottles.

These worked out fine for me. The assembled fairly easily, although I had to drill a bigger hole to avoid stripping the heads of the screws. The fit in the space is a little tight and I do lose the top bottle space due to the height of my cabinet space. Not a big deal though since I got two.

Pros:-Easy assembly-Nice, even toned, heavy wood-Sturdy-Looks great on my counterCons:-None yet, but it's currently under our xmas tree, so that might change when we get some use out of it!I STRONGLY suggest against using a hand screwdriver to put this together. Though the holes were pre-drilled and it should have been easy, they weren't quite deep enough, and I had to muscle my way to get the screws just 1/8th of an inch deeper so they wouldn't stick out. Ended up bruising my hand. But I am not the strongest person, so others might not have had this problem.

It took 10 minutes to put this together, including the time to open the box and grab the screwdriver. I had no difficulty. The screw holes lined up perfectly and I didn't even need the instructions. It looks good and I'm pleased. Now my little wine collection is housed safely, comfortably, and attractively.
