Flexible Flyer "Triple Fun Swing Set

I wanted to rate this higher, it's a nice set and my kid seems to love it but there were two big issues I saw, hence down 2 stars. First though, it wasn't hard to put together. Took my husband about 3 hours to put together with minimal help from me, including the extra glider swing we bought. It came with instructions, some people didn't seem that lucky, but they were a bit vague at times leading to a few "opps, this bar is backwards" moments. However it seem sturdy enough, and we don't get much rain in so cal so I'm not worried about the rusting issue.However the 2 issues:1. The swings are crazy slippery. I can't say I wasn't warned by other reviewers, but the first thing my son did was sit gently in the swing, leading immediately to the first crash backwards on his head from the swing. Honestly, it's like they polished the plastic to be extra slippery, Flexible Flyer if you read this, PLEASE consider changing that finish. The swings are more slippery than the slide. Figuring I didn't want the next big crash to be backwards from 3 feet up I took sandpaper to the swing seats for about an hour and now they are do-able. If we get any more crashes I will replace the swings ( which is silly because they are brand new ).2. The swing set doesn't come with stakes for the ground. Again, was warned by other reviewers so I bought these beforehand: Flexible Flyer Ground Anchor Kit for Metal Frame Swing Sets  . However my husband had the swing set up and my kid was swinging in it before the stakes were in and, although it wasn't looking like it was going to tip, my 36 pound 4 year old was rocking it all on his own. I wasn't sure what to expect from such an affordable swing set and was a little nervous about the purchase. We received the package (1 box) yesterday and I was able to assemble it within a couple of hours. For those people that say it was hard to put together... it isn't really if you pay attention to the directions. And when I say pay attention, I mean READ EVERYTHING before you secure each piece. If you follow that rule, you won't have a problem. Overall, I'd say it was easy to put together. I did run into a slight hiccup with the slide due to hole alignment issues, but was able to figure it out. We didn't attach the seesaw due to space restraints, so I can't attest to that review.STURDINESS: IT'S ALL ABOUT TIGHTENING THE BOLTS AND SECURING THE ANCHORS. Although it says anchors are included, none were in the box. Luckily I had also purchased the Flexible Flyer Anchors for Metal Swingsets (a MUST), so it wasn't a problem. For those people that say the set is wobbly, cheap, etc... the bolts and anchors probably aren't tight enough. Our set is extremely sturdy- both of my boys can swing, and I (125 lbs) even tried it out with no problem. No wobbling at all.THE SWINGS ARE TERRIBLE: I was warned from other reviews, but can verify that they are really hard, slippery and difficult for my 3 year old to sit on, so we are getting new ones. Only downside to the set.So why am I giving this 5 stars? Because for $150, you can't beat it. My kids (1 & 3) love it!! Easy to put together, sturdy, slide included... sure, I need to get a couple of new swings but totally worth it. We were looking for something that will last us a couple of years until we upgrade to a clubhouse, and this does the job!

Took longer than expected for delivery; however, we are very happy with this set. I put the set together alone and it took a couple hours. The directions are not difficult to desifer as described by other buyers. Each step has its own bag of screws, lock washers, bolts and nuts; labeled in a sealed clear bag. With a little know how, the set goes up without difficulty.

Delivery and arrival was super fast, thank you! Why I gave it 3 stars: Assembly took 3 hours, did not come with anchors, seesaw could not be put together because none of the hardware for it came with it. Manufacturer never responded to calls or emails but seller was good, understanding, and communicative but not for long. Now I am stuck with a disassembled seesaw with no parts to put it together and a toddler that wanted a seesaw. At least she likes the swing. I would not buy another swing set online again.

After reading about soooo many swing sets for toddlers, and finding so many different reviews I ordered this swing set.My son and husband put this together in a few hours. Other than the instructions being a bit vague, (thanks to those who wrote about the holes for the tetter totter) it went together very well. My 3 grands are 1 1/2 and 3s and it is the perfect size for them. Even the baby can get up the slide with no problems. I did order bucket seats to replace the seats that came with it because they are safer and the kids can stay on better. They loved this set and have been using it daily. Great set for the price. It is on the lawn and so far we haven't needed to get anchors yet.

The only gripe I had for this product was the instructions in the instruction Manuel. They were very vague and didn't give clear instructions about a few very important steps in assembly. This resulted in me having to take a portion of the swing set apart and re-assemble. The other thing with installation is the nuts and bolts that were choosen for this set are a pain in the butt. Instead of using a bolt that does all the way through both holes and then putting a nut on the end, it's mad with bolts that don't go all the way through and then you have to put the nut through the other side and try to find the nut without being able to see anything. Seems like pointless work and very time consuming. Other then that it works well and my 3 year old daughter loves it. We had our first fall off the swing within 15 minutes but it's low enough that it didn't hurt and she didn't cry at all. She also loves that the swings are low enough that she can get on them by herself.

Great for our granddaughter. Does not take a lot of yard space.
