I got this because I read that it worked well with my home automation system (HASSIO) but unfortunately it can not connect to my network at all because my router runs on AC/N/G. What happens is that it tries to connect to the router and sees AC/N and just gives up immediately.

This BroadLink device can control my Samsung smart TV no problem with satisfaction. Next, my Air conditioning unit is not a popular brand, so I have to make the device learn the infrared remote control button by button; the result is okay after many tries. Sadly, I have a heater that the device will not learn at all. The infrared range of the device is about 4 meters because I had to point it at my TV at times to make it work. If you plan to use it thinking it'll radiate signal like a WiFi access point, No, it's a line-of-sight gadget that works if your appliance is close and put the BroadLink device close to them. Overall, it's a decent gadget for fun.

Je n'ai pas essayer.Ne fonctionne pas en wifi 5Ghz.Il fonctionne bien en mode Solo si vous utiliser l'application sur le téléphone.Si vous l'avez acheter faite vous rembourser.Je vous conseille de l'acheter du fabricant lui-même

Was relatively easy to set up. The app is ok.I am able to turn my TV on and off however does not support voice control of my sound bar.To me it should be easy to provide for a custom voice control. I can control my sound bar with the app's digital remote control however I cannot turn those controls into a voice order which to be would be easy to program. ALl I want to do is turn it on and off, not alas I cannot.

I got this IR universal control after my Cube lost its ability to power on/off my projector via IR. A shame to loose that function with one of the Fire Cube updates, and after 2 months of really bad technical support from Amazon on the Cube, I decided to move on and try this thing for the kids to regain their ability to turn everything on and off in the home theatre by voice. This thing works like a charm! The initial setup was not straightforward as the “smart” pairing mode that comes as default didn’t work for me. After changing the pairing mode to AP I was able to add the projector in 10 secs and setup scenes. I even added an HDMI splitter that I couldn’t control with the Cube before. I used the BroadLink app and IFTTT with Alexa, but it can be done straight between Broadlink and Alexa once scenes are created. I will get more of these things! Amazon, your Cube IR capability gets beaten by this 30 dollar device making the Cube hard to justify. The Fire stick plus one of these would do just just fine.
