Rubies Star Wars Classic Child's Deluxe Clone Trooper Costume and Mask, Small, White (882015S)

My 4 yr old loved wearing this costume for Halloween! He wears a 4T so it was a bit big, but it did not bother him. I thought the body of the costume was good quality and it is more detailed than the other kids storm trooper costumes you typically find. The helmet comes in two pieces and the plastic is pretty thin. If you bought a kids costume in the 80s - remember the costumes that came in boxes with the thin plastic masks - the mask is like that. It is better because it is a realistic looking helmet, but it is too flimsy for daily dress-up play. My preschooler did not like wearing it much, especially in the dark, but he still thought it was great.

We purchased this costume becouse our son of 8yrs wants to be a trooper for Halloween.Well when it arrived I'm sad to say how disppointed we were on the quality.Pay more get cheap made materials.I just can not beleave that they exspect us to pay so much for something so cheaply made.First of all there were two front face peases stuck together.Then one face front had no vents on the left side under the nose, which caused it to fog up.As for the other one it has the vents but where it attaches, the velcro dosen't match because the sides are cut uneven.This costume is supposed to be a deluxe, where is the deluxe that makes it worth paying 40$?I've seen this costume at much higher prices,are u kidding me!Whats realy sad is this costume is the one our son wants,so we as parents have exchanged it for another one.We hope the next one comes without any flaws or manufactured defects.We have uploaded some pic's ,in hopes that this helps others.With this said have a safe and fun Halloween.Update:We have recieved the exchange replacement costume.There are no issues with this one, other than it's a little tall in lenght.The mask helmet lined up together,velcro tabes were all inline of each other.As for the vent holes,they are all there.Over all our son is happy with it and can't wait till Halloween.I have an suggestion about this costume,The eye film should be clear not tinted.This is supposed to be for Halloween night but because of the tinted film this will make it difficult for kids to see at dark.I think that if there were an film insert that you could change from tinted to clear,would be perfect for both Halloween night and role play.I am disappointed that the price is to high for such cheep materials.

I bought this costume for my soon to be six year old son.Who is of average weightand a bit taller for his age.It fit perfectly (it's suppose to be snug in my opinion)the only thing that bothered me was the shoe coverings were too small but I can live with it.If I bought the next size up like others suggested it would maybe fit in the feet area right but be way too big every place else (which would not be good).The costume is of good quality than most of the others I've seen of the same character.It's not meant for long term wear/play it is meant to be worn a few times and tossed out.I bought it here for a little over twenty five dollars it is selling in the costume stores for up to $59.99 so it was a great price.My son loved it!.

These costumes are a snug fit, with no room underneath for layers. We bought the Large 12/14 for our 10-year old, and the sleeves are too short. The boot covers won't be covering his shoes, as the legs are not long enough either. I consider our son average size and height, so definitely size big on these. 2 very small pieces of velcro aren't doing a very good job of keeping the back closed. We will have to come up with a more secure hold (safety pin maybe). Although the suit part of the costume is made very cheaply, the white pads and "armor" parts make this a great-looking costume from the front. Unfortunately, the back of the costume is solid black, so looks bad from the back. Helmet is light-weight and flimsy, but also looks great when it is on. While I have a lot of complaints, I also consider this the best-looking option for the price. Our son is happy with it.

costume is ok, but belt and mask are flimsy. Also, the eye-lenses in the mask are so dark and cloudy that they are hard to see out of. Since kids will mainly where this for Halloween - AT NIGHT - the visibility is not good. My son and his 4 friends all got the same costumes. They ALL ended up not wearing the helmets because visibility is poor.For the price, the quality and the functionality are not worth it.

My son loves this costume!!!Runs small. Bought the large and it's just got a little extra room in it.Helmet hard to see out of. Will have to exacto out some holes to see through at night.

Deluxe? Nope, this is beyond cheap. The costume was actually STUCK to the inside of the bag and huge sections of paint peeled off when trying to get it out. Permanently creased and wrinkle like it had been shoved into the bag.The helmet was FILTHY (not the outside which is supposed to be but the inside covered in dirt and grime I had to wipe down with baby wipes, really gross. The helmet was warped, making it wider than it's supposed to be and hardly looking like a storm trooper at all. Size - the only star, I ordered a Large for my above average sized but rather thin 9 year old son and the sizing was great.I ordered from another brand the same costume in small for my 3 year old and it looks great, so I can compare quality and THIS IS CRAP especially for $35!!! In fact I ordered 4 costumes, 2 kids and 2 adults ALL of them cheaper of similar in price and the quality is no where near those others. I'd picture this at the dollar store so if you see it for less than $10 grab it, otherwise PASS for sure. It was delivered 2 hours before my sons carnival event so now we not only have to ship it back but rush out to buy something else.

I buy lots of costumes so I may be overly critical, the suit on this one is nice but the helmet is very low quality plastic and breaks easily, it comes in two pieces that need to snap together so it’s really flimsy
