This product is excellent for all colored pencils. It works like a charm. It auto stops when the pencil has the perfect point. It doesn't break the pencils even the pencils that are known to break while sharpening. I love it.

I got this for my shop in the garage, but my wife stole it for work. I was able to sharpen a bunch of pencils before she made off with it and it worked great.I like that it can do battery or corded operation. It makes it much easier for use in my shop when I don't have to always have it plugged in, but have the option to run a cable if the batteries died and I didn't have replacements.It sharpened my pencils pretty quickly. I'm used to little handheld ones, so it was way faster and easier and they come out better.One of the main reasons I went for this model is the way it was designed. I want to drill a hole in one of my work tables so I can attach this sharpener to the bottom and have a discrete sharpener.I'm going to order myself another one of these because I don't think my wife is giving it back.

This is not an electric pencil sharpener, but rather uses batteries. It works very well.

I really like the pencil sharpener. However, after a few uses it stopped working. I think some lead got stuck in the sharpener. I returned it and received another one the next day. It works great!

I have a six-year-old who is constantly sharpening pencils for his drawings. I wanted something that could be run on AC power but have an onboard battery so it wouldn't be tethered to the wall and little hands could bring it to the work table. This works great for that.There have been a couple of jams, though more due to a little kid putting the eraser side in rather than the lead. The entire sharpening mechanism detaches and you can easily remove even the worst, most wedged leads or, in my case, erasers.Probably 90% of the sharpener is made of plastic. It's lightweight, but it's not going to survive a lot of beatings and probably won't be handed down to your grandkids. Still, it's made well enough that with a little care this will last you quite some time. Honestly, the only thing I would wish is that it had a secondary sharpener for the oversized pencils, since we have some jumbos for coloring purposes. But that's probably beyond the scope of this product's aim. All in all, a great find.

Pleased with this JARLINK Electric Pencil Sharpener. Keep it on my desk to save trips to my sharpener down in the garage. Works great for me.

I was in need of a pencil sharpener and despite the fact that Amazon delivered it late I did actually get it and I used it for a pencil. It only uses six and 8 mm pencils so be aware of that. I plugged it in and it works perfect. I would recommend, however when you use it, hold onto it cause if you don’t, it will zing around the table or whatever, so just hang onto it with your other hand and press down. It automatically stops when it’s at a sharp point
