No use of harmful cancer causing chemicals. Just burn the weeds. Its fun and satisfying. Tip: Have your garden hose or water bucket w water ready. A fire extinguisher is a plus. You will get weird stares from neighbors but who cares. You do you. Let them waste money on chemicals or pulling weeds by hand. You are smart, there fore you work smart. Bring your inner child back. Play with fire responsibly and get chore done at the same time.

Works as expected. Inner pushing mechanism is steel but outer ring holding edge is plastic. Probably so that it is easy to pushout and hold in to the canister inner ring. Still wish it was metal just for my peace of mind. It works like well and holding edge (teeth) didn't break so far after more than a month and more than 20+ attaching/detaching onto the canister. Other than my preference on material, it works as advertised and expected. I didn't give 5 due to my preference of steel holding teeth rather than plastic.

I bought alot of butane torch and this is the only brand that has good quality and will last longer

This is the second butane torch I've purchased on Amazon. First one was a cheapy that periodically flame balled in my hands. When that one expired soon after purchase, I purchased this better one. Much better quality, safer, and easy to use. I would buy this one again.

dear reader, I don't know you but i care enough to warn you. Product is defective! I would love to show you a video of the first flame igniting the can of butane but its too dangerous. This flashback occured when adjusting the flame. I am very familiar with using torches and compressed gas. This torch head cannot handle the heat and is defective. I tried contacting Amazon customer service, they seemed disinterested because the product was past the return timetable. They also seemed disinterested that I will be making a formal complaint to the US Consumer Products Safety Commission. Don't buy this.

This thing is powerful, impressive flame. It is legit a torch. To easily light it, you need the air mixture screwed closed, then open the gas valve, then ignite, then open the air valve to make the flame roar. It doesn't lock, the gas valve . It's a bit sketchy, once the head leaked and I had to blow out the fire. Had to use pliers to make it lock on to bottle. Also, I needed to make a plastic disc to allow the torch head to open my particular butane bottle. Torch barrel is far too big for small or delicate projects.

We have had a small butane camp stove for many years. There are always tons of not full butane canisters for the camps still lying around. I was googling one day and I came across this torch. It works amazing used it to caramelize sugar for creme brulee. I also took it to the garage to strip off a whole bunch of paint off of some 4x4s that I was repurposing for a table. It uses the same snap type connection as on the inexpensive butane camp stoves. Twist on twist off press trigger to light it. It works there is also a volume control so you can control the length of the flame and the intensity. The first time we used it there was some off-gassing from most likely the cleaning agent on the metal parts.

Please check ,in my delivered item middle nob was missing ,which is for adjusting flame, I returned it.
