Ikea STIG Bar Stool with backrest, Black, Silver-Colour, 63 cm (24 3/4")

For an Ikea product the quality is low and mechanically all the parts do not come together properly. Since Ikea peddles mostly cheap Chinese products in India it is understandable. I have used Ikea products outside India and this product, although simple, is particularly badly designed and it is not recommended that your guests become inebriated on this stool.

At first I thought it would be difficult to assemble but with a little help from the instruction manual provided...it's quite easy. Screws and driver are all provided. At the end you have to make sure you tighten each screw to the maximum ...quite sturdy and comfortable.

Noted to have received a damaged backrest and seating (see attached photos) which is probably due improper packing or during transportation. Fairly visible patch though. A star less due to this otherwise a great product.

I haven been using this for more than a month now. The chair is extremely comfortable. It serves its purpose well. Was easy to assemble, since it accompanied a printed guide leaflet.

Reasons to buy this:- modern design- very comfortable if u r not heavy; comforting back supportKeep in mind:- assemble with patience, some screws can be a little tough- available at cheaper rate at IKEA store, obviously

NOT Sturdy. Every now and then, the screws go lose with usage. Doesn't tolerate torque / pressure caused by regular usage.Even the screws holding the back support fall off.Looked good on Amazon Could be good to use but for flaws above.Wonder if IKEA can do something?

Received the product today. It was self assemble. The product is nothing as per the image shown , the quality is real bad. Not recommended at all. Placing a return right away.
