Great little gear puller.
This gear puller was just what I needed to pull the flywheel off the Briggs & Stratton engine on my Craftsman lawn tractor. The only other things that I needed to get it to work were 4 flat washers, 2 longer bolts and 2 nuts. Worked like a champ plus I can use it for pulling gears and pulleys.

Exactly what I needed for Volvo Haldex Flange
Bought this to help get a stuck flange off a 2008 Volvo XC70 and it worked perfect for pulling the flange off using two spare bolts Just an added tip: For reinstalling the flange, and loosening the center nut, a Volvo 999-5433 (CTA Tool equiv. CTA-7635) counter-hold (used for other Volvos to install the harmonic dampener) works like a charm

ESSENTIAL tool for pulling B&S Flywheel from Husqvarna Mower
This tool fit my Husqvarna 2448 with B&S V-Twin 24HP flywheel This is an ESSENTIAL piece of hardware if you plan to repair and maintain your own lawn tractor. The B&S V-twin is notorious for shearing the flywheel key and producing a "+Fuel, +Spark, +Air, NO start" scenario (place a washer between the flywheel and the torque nut, torque to 60 ft/lb).

OTC makes great stuff!
I & all of my techs have had this puller on our trucks for years, and this purchase was just to help equip the new guy. Can't believe nobody's reviewed this product before. Very versatile tool & not a lot of money, mine has paid for itself 100 times over. If you pull motor bearings, PB or flange bearings, fan blades, or almost anything off a shaft, this puller along with the 1122 bearing splitter (you usually need both) will make your job easier. I've had 4 OTC pullers on my truck for 30+ years, and haven't spent a dime on replacement parts for any of them!

Well made
Gear puller worked as advertised but could use grade 8 bolts. I bent the ones it came with

Great Tool
This wheel-puller tool is very rugged. I beat the snot out of it with an impact wrench to remove a rear wheel from my lawn tractor. I used threaded rod instead of the bolts it came with because they weren't long enough for my particular wheel. I highly recommend this tool. However, I also highly recommend buying the wider model if you want to pull lawn tractor wheels. The one I bought was almost too narrow, whereas the threaded rods where right at the ends of the tool.

not made in the USA - see other problems
I have a few OTC tools, some 20+ years old that work fine, so I ordered an OTC 7393 gear puller from Amazon that was labeled on-line as "Made in USA". This one came in a cardboard box that says "USA made with global parts". What does that mean? You assembled it in the USA from inferior China sourced parts and actually employed no USA citizens with machine work? I could have bought that locally for 1/2 the price. No plastic case, just a cardboard box. The pamphlet is not even for the correct puller, it is for a two jaw puller, as is the warning tag. How safe is that? What kind of image does that set for the company? Plus, one bolt is grade 5 fine thread hex head cap screw, which you would expect to find for a puller while the other is an unmarked hex bolt coarse with no washer/cap which you would NOT want to use with this puller because the head would eat into the frame.

worked like a charm
great company, great puller but find the right bolt thread patterns at the hardware store. this puller came in handy but the bolts provided did not work for my need, I went to my local hardware store and got some bolts that have the same thread pitch as my driveshaft yoke as well as some washers. it took very little force to remove and an hour later my truck was back on the road. dont forget to oil or grease up your forcing screw to give you much more ease.
