restores all functions with the exception of Touch ID as is pointed out in the description.
I ordered this to replace version 1 of the replacement button which required a jumper block and Bluetooth to work. This button required neither to work. Work slowly and take your time and you should not have any issues.

Good replacement
The home button worked and was easily installed the fingerprint reader did not work but I saw in the item description that it would not so I was not surprised.

The button does not work, just a dummy. Will be returned.
Completely non-functional button. Not talking about Touch ID - absolutely nothing works. Decoration at best.

Did not work. Came with all the tools
Came with all toolss needed for the job. This is not my first time working on iPhones. But the button did not work at all

I was absolutely ready to disappointed. Well i gotta tell you i was pleasantly suprised. After screwing up my original home button on my 8 plus i thought all hope was lost. Well my phone got stuck on a white screen and said "to update press the home button" I assumed my home button was the issue and decided to gamble this one. Long story short, even if the original home button worked it would not work on this software glitch. So anyways i now have a new screen, again and a home buttom that works. Mind you the finger print id does not work which is fine. The button was also glitchy at first however is doing great now. Just installed. No special set up or nothing. Also let it be noted that apple can kiss my a$$ and since i bought a note 10 plus i will never go back to a apple product again. Now i just have to find someone to unload this iphone on.

Other buttons I bought didn’t work at all.
So happy this item work as advertised .It's a physical connect function home button,you must attach the logic board connecting cable to the right position during install,it may not worth to a freshman who haven't any repairing experience.But for ppl who really want your home button function back,it's a great choice,beats paying Apple hundreds of money to replce a new one,

Replaced what I destroyed.
I was downing myself that this wouldn't work. I was completely wrong. It works perfectly than before. Happy customer.
