Newest Hookah Bowl Set With Heat Management System - Phunnel Silicone Shisha Head Charcoal Holder HMD - Crystal Core Glass

First off this is a literal 1:1 of the Lotus II, like down to the markings and I have to say its a darn good one. We've been using the Lotus I for years and love it with the original Kaloud Samsaris Vitria glass/silicone bowl. Let me start off and say that they ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE. That's ok though because you get the bowl and the new style heat management with this set. You CAN NOT put this new lotus on to the old OG vitria bowl and you CAN NOT put your old Lotus I on this bowl in this set because the rim is significantly smaller. I'd say the amount of shisha you can put in this bowl is a bit less too because it is smaller and shallower overall. That said I really like this new heat management system with the Lotus II style. It heats nicer and more even, I don't have to mess with the coals as often and it doesn't overheat and burn and doesn't cool as quick, its pretty steady. And if that doesn't sell you the overall look alone is much nicer. My only complaint is if things heat up to quick for whatever reason, there is no easy way to lift the whole base off the bowl quickly so your shisha wont burn. You gotta grab it a bit awkward with your tongs and hope you don't slip or you'll be flinging hot coals everywhere. But because the heat system doesn't fluctuate as much with this design I didn't really have to do it anyways. Great stuff for the price! Ironically it pushed us to buy the Authentic because of the gorgeous design and efficiency. Way worth the price!

The best that I can tell these are factory seconds of the actual Kaloud Lotus II. When I received this the first thing I noticed was leftover silicon lip inside the bowl holder where it sits on the hookah stem. Then when looking over the heat management device I found casting leftovers on the internal vents. These were easily broken out with the poker on my tongs. Once the casting leftovers where cleared out and the lip was carefully removed its looks great.As for smoking it is so far the best heat management system I've tried so far. Currently I am using the Kitosun Micro Cube Hookah with this. When I pack the bowl I ensure that the shisha is packed at or below the lip of the glass bowl. This is important so you aren't burning the shisha itself. Then I use 4 titanium cubettes. It does take about 5 minutes to really get smoking. I leave the top on until it starts to just get a bit harsh and then I remove it. I can go about 15 minutes with it off before the clouds and flavor start to thin out. I put the top back on and get about another hour out of the hookah.Following this process I get a very clean smoke with great clouds and flavor throughout the smoking session. This is true over several different brands of shisha. There is no real clean up needed for the HMD because it isn't actually touching the shisha. Just dump out the ash and its good to go for the next time. Cleaning the bowl is much easier than other fully silicon bowls as well. Just wash it out and dry it.So to get the most out of this setup make sure you clean out the castings from the internal vents and forming leftovers from the internal stem of the silocon part then follow the process above and you should get a great smoke every time.

I was looking to replace my hookah, after trying a head at a friend house with Kaloud hookah I was hooked so I went to there site to check it out and it was almost 900 dollars. I decided to order some scrubs from Amazon to clean my existing hookah and got a new hose from Amazon and finally ordered the Lotus 2. I’m amazed of how good the lotus 2 from Amazon get the smoke so thick without any burn taste or having to move the charcoal at all.

I've had 3 of these and 2 of the glass dishes were damaged by the heat after a few weeks of 1-2 uses a day. The first broke due to thermal shock when I went to rinse out the shisha while it was still some what hot, but that's my fault, I had assumed this glass was similar to Pyrex in it's resiliency. Other than that single issue, the bowl works wonderfully and looks great.

This bowl and heat management system is awesome. Very easy to use, very efficient, and I love the glass bowl insert. I have used other similar systems that work just fine, but they are pure silicone, and eventually become corroded and hardened due to the shisha burning inside them. The glass bowl eliminates that issue, the bowl washes and wipes clean easily, and it still looks like brand new after dozens of uses.

This is a great combination. I was going to just order the HMD alone, but I'm glad that I bought it with the bowl because they both fit together perfectly and it totally rocks! My hookah not only looks way classier, but tastes better and feels safer than using foil + plus it heats up everything evenly and I don't have to fuss with it after it gets going. Worth every penny! Even with three coco nara coals in it, nothing ever tastes burnt. Winning!

This is a huge upgrade from the OG Lotus. The flavor is better, heat management is easier, and it's easier to keep clean. This is a near perfect clone of the real one that costs significantly more.

It looks like the real deal. I’m used to clay bowls and the lotus 1+. The lotus 1+ seems to heat up faster but that could be because I am using the glass bowl which seems to take longer to heat up. But once it’s going , it goes good. For the price of both items not bad at all.
