Papaya Enzyme Peel, 1.6 Fl Oz

On a cruise line, this was the facial exfoliator they used. Was told that sugar scrubs are abrasive. If you look under a microscope, sugar crystals are jagged and are tearing at your skin cells on your face when you use those. Using this enzyme peel, makes it so that the dead skin cells are gently being "eaten" away. Smells wonderful, makes my skin so soft and glowy after using. In winter, I get dry patches of skin on my face and this along with the lavender toner helped to eliminate that problem.

My combination skin loves this product. It’s a great exfoliation alternative for people who are sensitive to acids. I feel like it’s even calmed my mild hormonal breakouts. A definite new staple in my weekly routine.

This product is smooth, not heavy and has a light scent~ Just a thin layer for 10-15 minutes and you feel you went to a spa! Thank you Elemis!!

I have been in skin care for 15 years and have used numerous pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical grade products. This enzyme peel is one of the best I have ever used! I also find it convenient that I do not have to use steam. My skin is immediately softer, smoother, has an amazing glow and an overall healthier younger appearance! I am 55 so all of that matters to me! I also really love how it smells. The only reason I did give 5 stars is because, even though it is a wonderful product, it is still quite pricey! I can get acid peels for $50!

Smells a little to chemical didn’t see results. Doesn’t seem to do anything maybe drys out my skin..,

Use 3 times a week, leave on for 15 minutes and then rinse. It works beat this way. Apply SOS cream after. I've worked around Skincare and cosmetics for years and this brand is the only one that has worked on my sensitive skin. Great for all ages. My aesthetician uses it and recommended it. Start early if you can! I thought my skin was oily because I was breaking out all the time so I was drying it out with ALL KINDS of expensive stuff. Come to find out that I'm dry and my skin was over producing oil to compensate hence the acne. Elemis cleared it up in about three months to get all the congestion out. Amazing. It works on ANY type of skin. I got it for my mom and my aunt. It improves the texture of the skin as well!

This mask is my favorite mask out there . From the fresh scent to the treatment which removes small blemishes and oils deposits for me , the exfoliant part of this is general enough but also also strong enough . So put it on as long as you need to adjust .

This enzyme mask I first tried when I was travelling in Europe, and bought from an airport in France duty-free. I found it really hard to track down in Sydney and in stores, but the formulation is amazing for skin when travelling, as the enzyme helps break down skin cells that have built up when you have been travelling and on and off flights through busy airports. Its great for weekly use regardless of travel. I was so happy I found a genuine product on Amazon for a good price.

I was a bit wary of this when it was recommended to me because I thought something called a peel would be sticky or harsh. In fact, it's a beautiful creamy texture which feels like it gently clears the skin. I have super-sensitive skin, but this has not irritated or dried my face, just left it feeling soft, and looking smooth and healthy. I will definitely be using this for a long time!
