Effective communication guide!
This is a book on analyzing people as well as becoming a better and more efficient communicator. There are so many new insights that I've found interesting in this book.Take the example of asking effective questions. This teaches me to ask meaningful and thought-provoking questions, so that I can understand what others people think or understand who I am talking to at a deeper level.I also like the section where Aiden talks about the important of non-verbal communication, which can enhance or strengthen the points I am trying to make or, on the other hand, contradict myself and reduce my listeners' trust in me.Here is another tip I love from the book: setting boundaries while communicating with people. This is a great way to maintain a healthy relationship in the long term while I earn others' respect in me.There are lots of other great tips you will learn from this book I am sure. I'd recommend this to everyone.

If you know nothing about psychology and its terms...
The intent is there but unless you are familiar with all the terms or take your time to break them down then the whole book is structured so generally it doesn't actually do much to help. It litterally just throws our terms like "everyone should know these" when unless you are already in a psychology field you wont. And if you break it down to basics it's actually just telling you to pay attention to people and listen also to think before you speak. The only useful things I found out of it was the info on the personality tests near the end of the book. Also its a very short book so short it seems like it was written by someone that just wanted a book and to seem like thet know what they are talking about. Not that it doesn't but it doesn't actually tell you any real or concrete information just general terms that are never explained.

not fully edited and some of the sentences are confusing and it could be better organized. does not cite much of their statement
interesting book. not fully edited and some of the sentences are confusing and it could be better organized. does not cite much of their statements/facts but i did learn some stuff. i tried to find the publisher and could not find it, it seems to be published by the author themselves since it was printed shortly after i ordered it (date was on the back and was the only date i could find). also the pages are not numbered...

The book gets confused between the reader analyzing people and the reader trying to make a good impression. It doesn't say what
An interesting listing of issues that are important in analysis, but not very well written. The book gets confused between the reader analyzing people and the reader trying to make a good impression. It doesn't say what its title claims.

There is always more to learn about people and how they react to things.
Fascinating read. I love this type of thing, understanding what makes people tick and how to really relate to and appreciate who people really are. No matter how many books one reads on nonverbal communications there is always value in revisiting this and keeping it all fresh in your mind. It takes practice but it's not difficult. Recommended as a good introduction to reading people in everyday situations.

A MUST HAVE BOOK ... but not for the reason you think!
What kept ringing true for me as I read each page of this book was not so much how to analyze people, but how my actions come across to others. There is so much that I can apply in my interactions with others, both in sensing the truth about them, but also in how I present myself in the future. Great information!
