I have wanted a 3D pen since I first learned about them. They had always been out of my price range though until I ran across this beauty, so I snatched it up. My husband has built a couple of full sized 3D printers, but as those are out of my tech comfort range, I was REALLY excited to get and try out something that was more my speed as an artist. It functions much like a glue gun, with forward and back buttons for loading and printing with the filament as well as unloading the filament when changing colors or when finished with a project. Once you have button operation down, it's as easy as doodling. I love how easy it is to use and how smoothly the filament flows out, making creating fun. I will add pictures of a project or two to this review as soon as I've mastered my motor control as my hands aren't as cooperative as the pen just yet. I do recommend this for personal use or gifting, as the price is right and the quality is superb. I did receive a discount on this printing pen in exchange for an honest and unbiased review

It's a fun new toy. Very basic in comparison to other 3D pens. The price was right for it. I suggest anyone wanting to get into this hobby to start with this and work you way into a more expensibe higher quality 3D pen. I didn't receive the stencil pages which was a letdown. Cone with a few sample filaments which was nice. I had an issue with the tempurature setting when I received it causing burning of the filament. With a small adjustment, I fixed the issue. There is a slight burnt plastic smell when using it, but that's somewhat to be expected when you are melting the plastic-like filament. Dependant on the left span of this, thus far, it has been a fun new thing to play around with and create art with.

My son seems to like it but it does get hot around the tip which they warn you about. So help your kids and teach them how to do it without burning themselves. Also its a little hard to figure out but once you do it works good and is fun.

Kids have so much fun with this! You do have to practice but the results are so cool! The filament has yet to run out from the original package and this was a Christmas gift. My daughter uses at least twice a week if not more. I recommend this product for kids who can sit for a moment or two and ease into using properly. NOT for kids who expect perfection instantly. I purchased for my nephew who is 7 and my nieces and daughter 9-11.

It’s Not something I would recommend for an adult who wants to get a quality product but great for kids

9 year old Daughter loved it. Fairly easy to use -- no problems. It might take awhile to be able to create something impressive.

It works, but poorly, and the ABS included is not super safe for kids, it is a toxic substance. I only find it useful for patching 3d models I have made, not really for making it's own art.

My 11 year old son loves his pen. We have had it for 6 months. My son plays with it everyday. We bought countless extra string. We did have the feeder get stuck but we sent it back to the company and they replaced it at no charge. Great great toy!!! perfect birthday or holiday gift.

I order the Victorstar 3D Pen as a gift for my 9 year old,And we are extremely pleased with our purchase.It is simple and easy to use. The only reason for a 4 start rating was the box the pen was in itself was a little damaged but not the shipping box.However the pen worked fine, and we were set up and "writing" in no timeLooking forward to lots of creative days.Thank you

I bought this pen as an addition for my 3D printer and for travelling! Sometimes you just want to create! It is a little awkward to use! I am happy with the purchase and happy that it uses 1.75 filament the same as my printer. The instructions are easy to follow.

This makes a great gift for someone who loves to create. I bought it for my husband who games! He loves it.Would have like a little more filament, but it's easy and cheap enough to get lots of refill filament.

It is a neat little gift for kids. It doesn't work the way a normal 3D pen would. The images aren't really 3D. You basically draw parts and stick them together to made them 3D. Fun past time for kids though.

We really enjoyed this product. I bought it for my boyfriend who has recently become interested in 3D printers and I figured this was the next best thing. He loved it and has made really great things!
