I was looking for something to wear with yoga pants where you couldn't see the lines. I was surprised by how comfortable they are, I normally don't like thong underwear. I love the wide waistband on them which smooths things out. I didn't really buy them for the compression and I can see why some people would think they don't do enough. But they do say they are light compression, or something like that. They work perfect for my needs and I bought a second pair as well as tried another style by Spanx.

I had two different wedding dresses, both form fitting but different types of fabrics but these were PERFECT for both and very comfortable!

I’m wearing a very firm-fitting dress for my wedding, so I wanted to get something that would just smooth me out a bit. For reference, I’m 5’2” with a 24.5” waist and 36” hips. The XS fit me perfectly, I really don’t have complaints. It is as comfortable as you’d expect for shapewear and gives a good amount of compression. It could be a little tighter around the waist, but that could also cause a bit of a bulge on some people, so I think it’s constructed to prevent that. I’m very happy with the quality and effectiveness.

i really like spanx brand, but i have to say i was disappointed in this thong overall. it was a tad too high waisted for me (I'm 5'3, 140lbs), and i don't feel like there's really any compression in the tummy area. maybe these aren't meant to hold you in, but i thought that's what spanx is all about. i don't have a large tummy either just a bit of a pooch. i bought these to wear under my gym leggings but don't feel like they do what they are meant to. they are seamless though so you don't see them.

It’s doesn’t suck in as much as real spandex, but it does help! Esp if you are wearing a fitted bridesmaid dress

I’ve always been a huge advocate of SPANX and am shocked at how flimsy and non-effective this item is! They DO NOT hold any support AND the top rolls down! I am beyond dissatisfied and disappointed at the downturn of what used to be a reliable brand.

My wedding dress must be abnormally unforgiving. I have been looking for the sleekest shapewear and this thing is great but not for my day. You could see the front seams through the dress. I ordered a size down and it still didn’t quite hold in my lower belly. I don’t have a belly necessarily but I want the flat stomach look on my wedding day. So far this is the best I have found.

I know it should be tightening/small but I ordered the right size and it was so tight it sucked too much in and I couldn’t breathe. Go a size (or two up)
