Works great
I got 3 b&b 2 - 2.5" caliper trees secured with this. 3 ties on each. I used 12" aluminum army tent/tarp stakes to anchor. I could probably have tied 4 trees... but I only had 3 trees, so I used it all up. If you're a pro and wanting to cheap out and cut corners, then 4 trees maybe 5. If you actually own the trees and want it done right, then 3 trees. It's not any more "stretchy" than rope. The plastic isn't hard, but it's not soft either. You can't mark it with a fingernail soft, but it's not polycarbonate hard either. I thought it'd mark the trunk, but two months after application and at least 4 stormy times that I said "gee I'm glad I got those trees supported" there isn't any damage to the trunk. The best thing is how easy it is to set up. The chain type links makes it sooo quick and easy!

So Glad I found this product!
This product works. I heard about it on "On this Old House" and ordered it from Amazon. After pruning two large bushes, about 10" tall, that had spread outward, I cinched in the lower branches so they would grow upward and instead of outward. This product is easy to use. However, if your bush or shrub is large, then another person is a big help because they can pull in the branches while you hold the Chainlock's locking end. If your bush is tall or very wide, then you should consider cinching it in two places. You can't see this product once it is in place. Even though it is strong, it is easy to cut with regular shears.

Works well
Easy to use and holds quite well. I used it to hold up new trees and some bushes heavy with blooms, and it worked like a charm!

Great Product!
I have 120 arborvitae. Most of them have 2 or 3 main "trunks". Just about all the trees were damaged during the October snow storm this year. Because of the weight of the snow, the trunks split from each other so the tips of the trees were touching the ground. I had used some twine to tie the trunks to each other to straighten them out but the twine would either stretch then break, or it would dig into the tree bark. Then, I found this chainlock product on Amazon. It works fantastic for tying the big, heavy trunks back to each other. It is very easy to work with, seems to be very durable/strong, and did exactly what I hoped it would do. It also arrived within 2 or 3 days from when I placed the order.

Multiple Uses (and Reuses)!
A 100-foot roll of Master Mark Plastics Chainlock does more than just tie down newly planted trees. Made of recycled plastic, it is, very importantly, REUSABLE. We've found that we can snip off different lengths for a number of additional purposes -- putting each piece to use, and then to use again!.For example, to protect critter-vulnerable bushes, flower or vegetable beds, and other plantings, we make fences of 4- or 5-foot tall mesh-wire fencing material. Using short lengths (6-8 inches) of the plastic chainlock -- which is self-locking when threaded back through itself -- we can easily attach a few T-posts for support without hassling with tie-wire and tools. We can also make unsupported mesh-wire fences with the chainlock used as ties to simply close and lock the ends of the mesh together.Handy stuff, and highly recommended!

Shrinkage
Product came as described to the exception that 3 of the 4 packages where short 8 to 9 feet each. So you are really getting 94 feet on average per box.Maybe the plastic is shrinking

In less then 3 years product changed from 5 Star to 1 Star
I purchased this in May 2015 and loved it. I just repurchased this again March 2018 and it is only half as thick as what I purchased before, which means it only as half the strength. If a manufacturer is going to change a product they should not use the same listing information for the item.
