Needed this to cut a lot of soow jackets on wires. This did such a good job. It definitely beats using a razor blade.

don't try to use this for any cable other than perfectly round cable!! It will not cut romex or semi-round entrance sheathing. Only round (like a wooden dowel). I was too embarrassed to return it so I'll throw it in the junk drawer. ***********UPDATE************* I completely didn't understand how to use this tool. I watched another video and got educated. It is a wonderful tool for stripping romex sheathing, both length and making circular cuts. I knew I had to update my review and make it right.

This is not a quick use tool. It does the job. It does take about 15-20 turns while slightly adjusting the blade. It will not cut all the way through but you can bend the wire jacket and pull it off. It’s better than using strippers. You risk cutting the inner wires being to fast with strippers.

Got this to strip my mini split cable it does a very clean strip with out nicking the inner wires supper fast and easy to use

Be careful, your fingers can slide into the cutting channel. Definitely has a slight learning curve. Bigger than it looks. Fits on the hands very well. I think the quality and price ratio is better than the KNIPEX Brand. The blade is sharp, not sure if it's replaceable. Overall, works well. Fits in my tool pouch.

I found some things particularly awkward. It is hard to hold it open without the wire holder blocking your view of the blade. So if you need the position to be precise, its awkward. Once you make your circular cut through the insulation, there is no way to judge how far to turn the adjustment knob to turn the blade for the cut along the length (it is not consistent), its awkward. it is difficult to judge the cutting depth. I have used the method in their video. I have found that it is still hit and miss. I'm not sure if it is due to how the wire sits in the holder or if the blade is actually forced down somewhat when cutting. So it is also hit and miss. If you are lucky in your adjustments, it works. It is my experience that the odds are not that great. All the fusing with it made it no faster or easier than my knife.

Every bad review explains that they are using it wrong or on the wrong cable. This works great on multi conductor cables. I am kicking myself for not buying sooner, every knicked inner wire could have been avoided. I do a test cut on the end to confirm, then do my cut, so fast and easy.

If you have to strip cords it’s a lifesaver, way better than a utility knife

Heel moeilijk in te regelen, eenmaal juist, gaat het bij de minste tegendruk weer dwars staan. Echt weggegooid geld, begrijp niet dat dit zo hoog scoort...

Ce couteau à dégainer est juste parfait, très simple d'utilisation et facilite énormément la tâche lorsqu'on a de grandes longueurs de câble à dénuder. L'outil est très léger et précis. Il suffit simplement de bloquer le câble en haut avec le système de maintien en métal, la lame se bloque contre la gaine et avec un appui sur le haut de l'outil il vous suffira de tirer le câble pour qu'il soit facile d'en retirer le fil de cuivre se trouvant à l'intérieur. J'ai fais des longueurs de 25 m dans un temps minime ce qui est fortement agréable. On peut régler la taille de la lame se trouvant sur le haut de l'outil avec une petite molette en plastique qui se trouve elle tout en bas de l'appareil. Malgré sa légèreté il semble assez solide et durable dans le temps.

puede ser un buen producto para uso domestico, pero en obra no duró nada.
