Great RAM for Ryzen, overclocks well
Wanted to max out a Ryzen 3600 processor I'd bought - namely the Infinity Fabric bandwidth - by buying a 3600Mhz dual Ram kit. This Micron-E die based kit was on sale at the time and seemed to strike a great balance of speed, headroom, and price.Having used it for 6 months I've found them very stable at stock XMP settings (3600 profile). This gave decent 16-18-18-18 timings and worked well with all the various tasks I use the PC for, from productivity to gaming on Steam.Recently I was able to move past these stock XMP speeds and increase it to 3800 Mhz, with matching increases in Infinity Fabric, using a guide (Micron E die, memory timing cheat sheet) to help me find the most stable timings - ultimately getting timings to 16-20-12-12 and achieving over 54GB/sWould definitely recommend for anyone wanting a really easy way to get to 3600Mhz on Ryzen, and for those interested in going even higher (though above 3800 is diminishing returns with latency, at least on Zen 2)

Fast and Cool!
I bought these sticks over g.skill trident z because these were on sale and I do not regret it. They worked first time and no problems with XMP. They run really cool about 35c whilst gaming. With these sticks having Micron E-die modules I decided to overclock them and I got them down to c14 but that depends on your silicon. Overall great buy and really good paired with Ryzen.

Perfect ?
I was thinking buying two of this kit or two pieces of 16gb memory (this one with RGB). I`m happy I went with this one. Works like a charm. All I had to do after install to reach 3600MHz is to enable XMP profile in bios.Everything works perfect with AORUS x570 Pro and AMD 3700x.The next step could be overclocking it but since I have never done it before probably won't try :P

34% overclock, heat spreaders can be close to CPU cooler side-mounted fans
The Crucial web site shows that my motherboard is compatible. My system is an ASUS Maximus VIII Ranger with an Intel i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHz, and Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooler (air) in a large Fractal Design case. With Samsung DDR4 2626MHz memory the system runs every day at 22% overclock. The Ballistix Elite would not run in dual channel with XMP 2 timings. It was changed to the channel A DIMM slots, the UEFI bios timings set to automatic, and the Samsung and Corsair Vengeance memory loaded in the channel B DIMM slots. ASUS AI Suite 3 was set for overclocking at TU1, Extreme Tuning per core and the system was stable with the CPU at 4.7GHz shown as 34% overclocked. Although the case is large, one of the Noctua CPU cooler fans was very close to the heat spreader of one of the Ballistix banks. The system runs smoothly and silently at 34% overclock, but I will change to Fast Tuning. On the Crucial web site there is a download link for the temperature monitoring software.

As fast as a very fast thing
The Amazon reviews here are all over the place so, for the sake of clearing up confusion, this review is for the 3600 MT/s speed DDR4 PC4-28800 RAM.Ballistix RAM has served me well for many years but it was time to change my 2400MT/s speed RAM for something a little faster. The 3600 MT/s speed DDR4 PC4-28800 RAM was a perfect solution. The RAM comes in a nicely packaged sturdy box to avoid any damage. It has no instructions, you need to go online to the Ballistixgaming.com page for those, but most people who are going to want to pay for this speed RAM already know how to install it and configure it, anyway. The one useful thing on that page is the MOD software, which monitors the speed and Temperature of your RAM (as well as LED lighting for those models that support it).The RAM sticks themselves are noticeably heavy and chunky, which is good as they have a decent heat sink to dissipate the heat. The Ballistix logo is visible on both the outside and the side of the sticks, though the side logo sits the wrong way on my Motherboard to be noticeable. Now it's important to know about how RAM works alongside your PC before buying. It's notorious for not getting along with CPUs or motherboards without ensuring the Bios is up to date and Bios settings are messed around with, so most of the time you'll need to get your hands dirty before it will work properly. My setup is a ASUS Z170-P and i5-6600K with an up-to-date bios for the motherboard.I installed my RAM in slots 2 and 4 due to my watercooler pipes being in the way, which is fine and they'll work just as well. I then booted to see what would happen without changing settings (My Bios was already up-to-date). The PC booted fine and CPU-Z showed that the RAM was running at 2400Mhz which is the standard speed it defaults to.Rebooting and going into Bios, I changed my XMP profile back to Profile#1 which checked the RAM and set it to 3600 instead. I've done stress tests on the PC and it all works fine at the top speed.Overall impressions are great, another winner from Ballistix and another good reason to stay with Crucial's brand.
