Probably the best one I've purchased. Intuitive, long battery life, functional.
I've tried a few of these types of devices, as I like to put things in the oven and then take timer with me to another room to remind me when to go out and check the oven. Previous ones have been a little too flimsy, and have fallen apart over time. This one works reliably for me. I'm careful not to just throw it around, because it is just a light plastic device and it can break, but the back stand has survived. The magnets are still in place on the back and its stick to metal surfaces at least horizontally, because honestly I don't want it to fall off a vertical surface. The buttons are fairly intuitive to use once you've read the instructions. The one issue I accidentally had with it was pushing the buttons so fast, I fumbled and turned on the alarm function and the thing went off at 12AM in the morning. I'd lost the manual and didn't know how to turn it off, but some some searches quickly gave me the instructions on turning the alarm off and its all fixed. The battery seems to last forever. I've haven't changed mine yet. Caution: the alarm does NOT ring forever. It will stop, so if you don't hear it and respond, you may not realize it has gone off already.

Almost completely happy with these timers
I really like this kitchen timer so far! It has the countdown timer mode I needed plus a count up timer, a clock mode, and alarm mode. The interface is pretty simple and intuitive with five clearly labeled buttons on the front and two switches on the back for on/off and sound/flash. The magnets are strong and kick stand is sturdy. The display is large and easy to read from most angles. I do wish that setting the countdown timer was quieter or even silent. It makes a loud beep on each button press. There is a silent mode, but it would be too easy to forget to switch the sound back on. As a right handed person, I think it would have made more ergonomic sense to switch the positions of the MODE and the START/STOP buttons. I intuitively expect the most used button to be right in thumb position for most users. It takes a split second longer to locate and press it. Nice for lefties I guess.

Not What They Used to Be---Edited----Made Good!!!
I bought the first one several years ago. when I moved, it got misplaced and I still haven't found it. I liked it so much that I bought a replacement. I couldn't make it work correctly so I returned it for a replacement and THAT ONE stopped working just after the return window closed..... Edit-----The company reached out to me and made it right. I REALLY appreciate that.....I added a couple more stars!!!

Multi-purpose tool!
Love it! I especially wanted a timer with a dedicated clear button as I have had timers where you have to press two buttons simultaneously to clear and they are very problematic. I have thrown them away in frustration. This has a loud alarm and also the option for silent (which I am not sure I would use). It is very nice that it can also be a clock and easily set to the mode of timer when needed. Didn't think about using my kitchen timer for an alarm clock, but may just do that. Also, I am thinking this would be a good travel clock having added versatility. Multi-functional is good! No problem having to put my own battery in. The cost is reasonable. Am purchasing additional ones. Recommend!

Decent Functionality with Time Accuracy Problems
It’s cheap, easy to set up, and has all the functions I need for studying and timing my sessions. The reason I gave it 3 stars is that the clock gradually falls behind the actual time. Even when I set it slightly ahead, it still runs slower over time, so I have to keep adjusting it. I usually need to reset it about once a week.

Lots of features, more than I'll ever use
Bought 2 for timing mixed cook-offs. What's nice is you can turn them off to save on battery power when not in use. The beeper is louder than my old timer plus it's slightly different in frequency. This is how I know which food dish is needing attention.

All 3 KTKUDY Timers Stopped working in less than 2 months
After 45 days the KTKUDY Digital Kitchen Timer stopped working. I contacted “[email protected] “ and received the hassle free replacement. (As advertised in description) The replacement did not cost me any money! The second replacement did not cost me any money. It is best to use two timers at the same time to be certain that one will work properly!!! I used the KTKUDY Digital Kitchen Timer for 43 days, minimum three times a day, turning it off after each use as a down timer; then I turned it on and it did not boot, I turned it off then on and it booted normally. The next day I had it set for 15 minutes, when I pressed the start button, it turned off and would not boot (nothing on the display screen). I tried again a few hours later and it started working normally. Then when I started using it again it stopped working. Then the next day it started working again and continued to work the next 7 days, but, the display is dimmer and the alarm is no longer sounding, the down timer is working. The battery is good, the battery cavity inside the timer is perfect. After 53 days it stopped working permanently. This is the third timer that died before it got to be two months of on & off daily use. I read other reviews on Amazon, a lot of similar failures did happen the same way the three timers I have; these three died slowly, coming back to life for a short period of time. Obviously there is an electrical component defect; I own other electrical devices and do not experience such early failure of the electronics. All three timers would have passed the final test at the factory because all three worked perfectly for less than two months. The design is nice, what is needed is better quality components.
