CRCIndustries (CRC05089) Brakleen Brake Parts Cleaner, 19 oz Can, 12 per Pack

I use this CRC for degreasing small parts and for other odd jobs and when I start to get low, I begin the search for another case of the same size can of 19 ounces. I scour all the local part store websites, Walmart and other locations but you can't beat the price here. I've used this product several times. Works great to remove brake dust prior to disassembling brake assembies. This is important safety step. Product was properly packaged and was delivered undamaged and on time. Delivered price was less than I could purchase locally. Since I was repairing an older truck for which parts weren't available locally. The whole repair was being done mail order. Love to support local auto parts store, but since COVID many items have become hard if not impossible to source locally. Now local and online sources have become invaluable.

I do old cars & use a lot of different cleaners ,this is a good one for small part cleanup ,does not leave any residue that interferes with painting of parts. I buy a case when some supplier has a sale. The smell is not terrible, but i wear a mask for chemicals and fumes.

We have been using this for killing wasps and hornets for years. Nothing kills them as instantly as carb cleaner and it doesn’t stain your vinyl siding or leave a greasy mess. This is clear and it evaporates quickly. The long range straw included on each can gives you marksman aim from a long safe distance. Best used at night when everyone is on the nest, nobody flies away. Even works on the huge blad faced hornets, we stay vigilant in the spring and when the first ones show up building the nest under the eaves you can drop them instantly. I would not try it on ground nests, use a coke bottle half filled with gasoline and shove it in the hole at night. Oh, and this carb cleaner does a great job cleaning carbs too, as well as other parts! We always keep a case on hand. Do wear goggles
