PrimoChill Anti-Kink Coil - 3/4in. (16mm) (for 3/4in. OD Tubing) - Pearl

While anti kink coils are useful, and can be used to decorate tubingthis specific brand of coils cracks and becomes brittle after a year. When I first got them, they were springy, very and appearingly durable. Now, when i tried to clean my blocks and removed the tubing, the coils just cracked into pieces and fell.Might be a defect, either way, if you are using anti kink coils for anti kinking, it Thicker tubing walls would help out tremendously and you dont have to spend extra on anti kink coils.

So, this was the first time I've ever used and anti kink coil and, full disclosure, I only got it because of aesthetic reasons. That being said I was genuinely disappointed with what it was when I got it... it took me just as long to WRAP the coils around the cooling hoses as it did to run the entire system. I initially thought the coil would just slide down the hose but it doesn't, i had to twist and wrap it around. On top of that the quality of the product leaves a little to be desired. I'm genuinely not sure how they thought to accomplish keeping hose from kinking with real thin cheap plastic. ENDING THOUGHTS... if you're buying this to add to your loop for aesthetic purposes, by all means go for it... just be prepared to work for it... if you're getting this because you want it to help keep your cooling loop hose from kinking, I would personally suggest figuring out a new way to run your loop..

Well, I want to have something like this in my water cooling loops and I exactly what I was looking for :-)
