It works Great for holding the voltage while diagnosing problems or flashing the ECU. It feels a little on the expensive side but works great. If you own and do your own work on as many Land Rovers as I do, you are going to need it! Ask the dealer to do work involving flashing your ECU and then this feels a little less expensive. There are other options out there like, buying a Toyota, but where's the fun in that:)

Easy to use solid power supply. Some jobs will require the longer cables. Must have tool when performing ECU programming. Midtronics has replaced with an improved and much more expensive model, but this is still a solid product.

Would not recommend buying this- purchased this unit last year, worked fine for about 6 months then suddenly stopped working. Payed midtronics $245 to fix it- they shipped it back to me with a broken fan and it still didn’t work. Payed to ship it back to them again and the unit failed again a month after getting it back from them. What a waste of time and money. Never again

At first I thought it was a little pricey, but, After using it I thought WOW! It has already saved me a lot of time and money while working on my cars and other battery operated devices. Great product.

Good clean stable power for programming. This is not meant for charging. Only maintaining

Seems to be the one to buy as it is one of the options on Mercedes Benz required tool and equipment list as the one to have for "Flash Programing"... I will say that the carrying case design could be improved, not really sure what they were thinking... Also the power cord is kind of short... The one drawback I see when compared to the more expensive options on the MB list is that there is no read out on it to tell you what kind of power it is kicking out... But is works well as the "XENTRY/ DAS" does not complain about voltage being out of range during programing, good on BMW too. Over all I am glad I bought this, no regrets.

Needed a constant power supply for my technicians to use while programming motorcycles. This power supply/charger is expensive; however, its value you matches the price. Bought a second power supply for my second business.

I use this daily at the dealership I work at. I use it for reprogramming and key on/engine off diagnostics to keep the system voltage up. Always works and has a sturdy build.
