They are entertaining for a wide range of ages
3 in a box - Bought as a stocking stuffer for each of my grandkids. Their ages are 11, 12 and 13. They started playing with them right away. Even though they opened several other items through out the morning, they always came back to the Rail Twirlers! They are somewhat mesmerizing with glowing colors. And it’s fun to challenge yourself to keep them moving over the rails. No batteries needed! I would definitely buy this again.

Favorite Magic Gyroscope
I have ordered this particular toy and brand over and over again. It is the sturdiest and most reliable of its kind. Highly recommend!!

A favorite retro toy, with a twist!
I was a child of the 80's and we always had these as kids. When was browsing and saw these, and saw that they were MY toy, with the added bonus of lighting up, I HAD to order. I wanted to get these for my 5 and 6 year old sons, and share in my nostalgia for a bit. Everything nowadays is electronics, tv, YouTube, so I wasnt sure what they would think of this toy mom played with way back when. As soon as I opened the box they were fighting over who gets what color! Even my 7 year old daughter wanted the third one for herself! They spent a good bit of time rolling them up and down while they lit up, exchanging wheel colors, and trying to see who could go fastest! The little colored wheels have lights in them that are activated when both little magnet nubs make contact with the metal frame, and shut off when removed (super easy!). One suggestion would be to maybe add an on/off switch to the wheels? Either way, we all had such a great time playing together with these, I was living in nostalgia the whole time! Tomorrow me and my 5 year old have a competition to see who can go the longest without stopping or getting off the track. I'm betting my son will win lol. Great, simple family fun!

Pretty cool
I thought at first they were broken- but you have to get them spinning pretty good before they will light up.

Feel like I am 10 again.
I am 53 and saw these in an ad. I LOVE these when I was 10. They came in a pack of 3. I had to buy them for our sons (16, 18, and 21) for their Christmas stockings. Their faces were hilarious because they had no clue what to do with these. Now they walk around the house with them when they are bored. They now have competitions. It is nice they don’t have their faces in devices for a little while!

Big Hit
I gave these to a couple of my grandsons (10 & 12) for Christmas. When they initially opened them up and tried them out, they thought they were just OK, but when the Twirlers LIT UP, the boys REALLY liked them. They couldn't wait to go into a dark room and play with them. Even the older "kids" (17-24) were getting a kick out of them. Highly recommend as stocking stuffers, birthday presents, etc.

It works to some degree.
I would much rather sacrifice at getting 3 low quality ones in a pack versus getting 1 high quality one with a complete redesign handle that’s more ergonomic. Besides the wheel feeling cheap, the most annoying part is the plastic piece on the handle being bad at staying in place to keep the rails from spreading too far apart or close. It’ll be better if it’s more locked in place so it’s more consistent.
