Couldn't WAIT to write this review!!
Okay, so I ordered this item on 04/07 and received it super fast (in two days) and began using it expressly by the instructions. Today 04/18/2014, I am absolutely AMAZED at what has transpired. I mean, I have struggled with so-called "chicken skin" (keratosis pilaris) on my upper arm/elbow, my thighs and lower back, since my early teens and even with multiple trips to dermatologists over the years and many other ointments, creams, lotions, potions, home remedies and the like, I decided to try this (largely in part to the reviews that I had read here), just as a last ditch effort. I must say, because I had so many other disappointing options, I was TRULY reluctant, skeptical, doubtful, to throw any sum of monies towards any more options, BUT, I did and I'm SOOOO glad I have done so with this product. While I realize that one product isn't the miracle cure for all, based on my experience in just ONE week and the multiple expressed experiences of the other reviews you may read here, I can unequivocally say that my monies and time thus far, have been extremely well spent. It is remarkable how much of a difference there is in my skin texture there is and the improvement continues, (IN JUST ONE WEEK). I will update this in another 3 weeks to let you know if I'm still as elated as I am now. If you are like me, and don't want to always resort to the sun to temporarily relieve this condition, (which would be much to the dismay of any dermatologist) give this product a try. It is well worth the expense, which I don't find to be too outrageous, considering the benefits. I hope this was helpful and I'll let you know in a few if I'm still on board.

Affordable lotion that does the job
I used to buy a lotion from my dermatologist that had 10% urea as well, but was over 2x the price. I have dry skin and KP, and the previous lotion had started taming and moisturizing my skin. And then my dermatologist discontinued that lotion.I chanced upon U-Lactin while looking for a replacement; I needed something with at least 10% urea and hoped for something more affordable. This came in a 2-pack and was cheaper than my previous lotion so I figured it was worth a try. And I'm very glad I did. This is a very hydrating lotion with very little smell that it is barely noticeable. It is watery when being applied, takes about two minutes to absorb, and does not have that sticky after effect.I have been using this on my body for 3 months. It helped my mild KP on the arms, but has not made my severe KP on my legs disappear (has helped tame it by maybe 40%). It has however helped with the dryness and itching. I also started using this on my face 2 months ago, and was pleasantly surprised that I did not break out when I started using it. Face now feels moisturized and doesn't feel 'stretched' anymore.Definitely worth a try. Might not be for all skin types. Severely dry skin might need a thicker cream with higher urea. Do keep your expectations in check, and always patch test first.

Soft & Smooth
I use this on my whole body and it makes my legs so so soft and exfoliated!! It’s cheaper than other products and you get more for your money. Plus the ingredients are the same as other, and it also include Urea & Lactic Acid. I know some of these products don’t have Urea in them so that made me happy to see, because that’s a really good ingredient for removing keratin and retaining natural skin moisture. My Keratosis Pilaris is pretty much gone and I’ve been using this stuff for like 3 days. I definitely recommend it!Also for perspective, I have used AmLactin and while it seemed to work, it also made my skin prone to burns while in the sun, and my fair skin seemed to be susceptible to becoming irritated and pink. I have not had any skin issues with this product so far, and that’s with daily sun exposure. While it’s possible it might not be as strong as AmLactin, but it’s still quite effective for my level of KP.Anyways I hope you give it a try! And if anything, it’s definitely good for smoothing rough & bumpy skin!

Kept Eczema in check...
I'm always searching for an eczema-friendly lotion I can be faithful to. Although this calmed my skin and prevented my itchiness from spreading, I am not married to U-Lactin.I did prefer this formulation to AMLactin, however. I noticed that it doesn't have the same *bite* (stinging) as AMLactin but boasts a lot of the same ingredients. It's lovely that this formulaton includes both Urea and Lactic Acid, which are extremely beneficial to skin health. Why not 5 stars? Mainly, the price - so for now I will keep my roving eye looking for a product of this quality for a lesser price. This container maybe lasted me about 2 months of just using it strictly on my eczema-prone lower body and using a separate lotion for up top. It absorbs fairly well, but is not as emollient as a cream would be.I would use this lotion if your eczema is "just chillin" (ie you aren't having a terrible breakout, but your skin is more delicate than usual and needs the PH to be balanced). If you need something thicker to get you through a severe breakout, I highly recommend Eucerin Eczema Relief Body Cream. Although it doesn't have the same exfoliating Lactic Acid, it instead comforts skin with ceramides and oatmeal. In fact, both of these products work really well together.Happy skin health!
