Solid deal and well made
Nice set up actually. Give the steel appropriate time to heat up and you'll get nice leopard print crust. The peel is really nice as well. Its a bit of a learning curve, just dust the peel with flower, quickly slip (twitch) the peel under your prepared dough. Briskly top your dough, and occasionally shake the peel to ensure the dough is still moving. Then slip it on the steel, with a reverse twitch of the peel sliding it out from under the pizza. I really like this set up, Ive done no less than 9 pizza's in a little over a week. Its all constructed sturdy.

Love this
Love this. Got a new smoker and we wanted to try pizzas. This set up has a great price and everything you need to get started making pizza. The stone is durable and well crafted. The pizza peel is ok a little weak.

Good Stone, Bad Peel
the stone works really nicely and the pizza turned out AMAZING.BUT, the wooden peel that comes with it, doesn't work for us. its too thick to slide under the raw pizza.

Worth every penny !
Best pizza stone that could have crossed my path. At first takes a little bit of practice but once you got the dough part down it’s a lot of fun making your own type of Neapolitan style pie.

Allows even cooking crust and topping following instructions.
Works great with upper and lower burner ovens. I lightly flour and (PREHEAT) the stone in the oven before placing the pizza on the stone. This process gives it a nice crust. I have not tried it on my grill. The pizza paddle is a great tool to remove the pizza. Will try the grill soon. Make sure you know the measurement of your grill so the stone fits.

Emits a horribly offensive cooking smell when proper baking temperature is reached.
I ordered this pizza stone to replace a 25-year-old Pampered Chef stone that cracked one day. I thought I researched well; but apparently did not look at all the one-star reviews; I should have. I've used this stone twice and I am afraid to use it again unless I use it out on our grill. The stone emits a horrible chemical smell once the cooking temp is reached and continues throughout the baking process. I didn't want to even eat the pizza as it cooked atop the horrid chemical smell. It smelt like rubber burning; a substantial electrical fire. Bits of the pizza stuck to the pan and required substantial effort to remove as I couldn't soak the pan. I am very disappointed. I should have paid the shipping fees on another Pampered Chef stone or considered just using my camping cast iron pizza pan as it isn't much heavier than the Cordierte stone. A couple customers stated the smell decreased with use so I will try it outside a couple of times before I admit this was a total waste of money. Very frustrating!!
