Wood Sunglasses for Men and Women. 100% Maple Wood

Just go these glasses today and they look sleek. Unfortunately for first impression, the box it comes in looks pretty cheap. The wood has little weight and just feels not sturdy.Ultimately though the review is for the glasses. The glasses look pretty great and definitely have a smooth finish. I ran my fingers over each perceivable edge to find it smooth to the touch and with good polish. The frame feels sturdy and the glasses almost have as much weight as the box it comes in directly. The glasses are a snug fit for my face, but the frame had enough give to shape around my head, and felt pretty sturdy on my head while it was on. The inside of the glasses, however looks notably different than the outside. Mine had a noticeable bluish greenish hue on the inside, but thankfully its only on the inside. Lastly, one of the picture gave me the impression that the inner side of the frame would have some soft material due to the black color from the image, and that is not there. Despite that though, the glasses still felt snug and comfortable on my head.The cloth and bag it comes with are nothing to brag about as the bag isnt sturdy and cloths are standard with shades. The bracelet is a nice touch, though i do want to stress the beads were smaller than i anticipated. Each bead has about the circumference of a thumbtack, but they do have a nice polish and definitely smell like fresh cut wood, which i personally liked. Unfortunately as well the wood color is definitely a shade or two darker than the shades themselves which you can see in one of the pictures.Overall I am currently satisfied with my purchase as this is a great price for fully wooden shades and the look great. In terms of durability I'll update after Coachella to put it to the test. As a side not, I REALLY wish they had one with no gradient on the side and was just plain.

I just received these and right away I could tell they are good quality workmanship. This will be my 3rd pair of "wooden" shades. Usually I get the Bamboo, which isn't bad, but they do splinter after some time. Also Bamboo is pretty much the lightest material on the planet. Don't get me wrong, people want their shades to be light, but I like just a little bit of heft so they are at least noticeable if they are on the top of your head or hat. These are really good quality and I can't wait to see how they hold up. However, I am knocking off one star, and I'll tell you why. When you buy a pair of "Wooden" shades part of the attraction besides the looks is the "ECO" friendly part. You are buying wooden shades because they are not PLASTIC. Well, I was very surprised when I received these and were in cased in 4 layers of plastic. First after removing them from the Amazon shipping material (which I am not counting) they were in a plastic ziplock bag, then to get to the nice wooden case that they come in I had to remove another plastic bag that had to be torn off. Then once inside the wooden case the shades themselves where wrapped in another plastic bag, then the arms of the shades had more plastic around them. Wow! I could understand if the beautiful wooden carry case had "A" plastic bag around it to preserve that beautiful fresh maple smell. But then the rest could just be protected by simple wrapping "paper". Even tissue paper would do the job, especially inside the case. But these are some beautiful shades.

These glasses are really nice! I was impressed with the quality of the wood; it is really beautiful! The glasses are well made, really a great product for the price! Came in a great case with a cute wooden bracelet as a bonus!

These should not be advertised as for men and women, they are way to small for an average sized man's head. They gave me a headache within minutes. Will be returning them.

I loved the idea of the wooden frame after little plastic flakes started to peel off my current pair. Unfortunately, the frames are too small for me, the glasses came in a rather bulky wooden box which I can't use, together with a little plastic zip-lock bag; a small cloth bag would have been a nice substitute for both those items; and with a wooden bracelet which smells nicely of sandalwood but that I also can't use. So in the end, all was discarded (I put the sunglasses somewhere where I hoped they'd be found, and used) so I had to give myself a "D" for this attempt to reduce waste. The frames themselves are nicely polished wood.

Really nice sunglasses. Bought for my boyfriend for vacation. Very different. He loved them. Sturdy. Nice case. Came with a small dent in case but other than that great purchase.
