Atlantic 25 Pack Movie Sleeves - Clear Sleeve hold two discs each, Protects Discs Against Scratches and Dust

I love these! I ordered several sets and organized my entire DVD collection is less than half the space. They are very durable. I like that I can still see the DVD cover and can use for two discs, if needed. Great purchase if you want to downsize the space your DVD's are taking up in your home.

This was the perfect storage solution for me. I live in a relatively small one-bedroom apartment and although I'm an avid movie fan, I just couldn't justify using up so much space to store my movies. I started looking around at different options, but I was fairly picky. I didn't want to keep my movies in a binder because I wanted to keep the cover art. I also considered the DiscSox DVD Pro Sleeves (available on Amazon and also at The Container Store), but after seeing them in person, I didn't like the way they looked and felt. They seemed more cheaply made to me, and I didn't like the black border that ran along the side saying "DiscSox"... I didn't want to have advertising on the product.These have two sleeves - an outer sleeve that holds the art work and an inner sleeve that holds two discs. One thing that stood out to me about this product was the fact that the plastic sleeves are enforced around the edges. One of the other options I considered did not have this and people said it tore easily. These are great -- seem very sturdy. The disc pockets are a bit tight, but you just have to push a little and they go in just fine. I'm ok with this, because I figure it will keep the discs in place. The only con to the packaging is that the little insert to close up the sleeve doesn't really stay in place. I don't think this is a big deal though, because I keep them all pressed together in a bin anyway and they still look like they are closed.As you can see in the picture, I had a storage tower that was filled up on both sides. I was able to take all of these movies and fit them comfortably with room to spare in the storage bin pictured. I was a little hesitant at first to throw away the boxes and crease the artwork, but once I got started, I really enjoyed being able to save so much space. The movies still look great in the sleeves; they just take up a whole lot less room now! Another bonus is I can easily take them with me places now since they're so lightweight and portable.One con is that I don't really like the way these sleeves fit with Blu-rays. On one hand, since Blu-ray covers are narrower, you can fit the entire edge of the artwork into the sleeves without folding right in the middle of the paper (which you have to do with the DVDs). However, I don't like the fact that with a Blu-ray, there's quite a bit of empty sleeve up above where the cover insert ends. I wish Atlantic would make another version of these same sleeves so that they would fit snugly around Blu-rays.I would definitely recommend these sleeves!

This is a great purchase to consolidate your DVD/Blueray library and maximize space. The sleeves include the sleeve with a closing flap that fits into a cut out on the back to secure it and a removable DVD sleeve that has the ability to hold two disks.These sleeves work great and were better than expected. I was disappointed that I was only able to store 25 titles with my purchase of one pack. The description states it can hold 50 disks. This is completely true, 50 disks. I could have fit more titles in the sleeves, but I prefer to have one sleeve be one movie title so many of the sleeves ended up holding one disk unless the title came with a bonus disk. I would have to purchase numerous of these packs to complete my library. I was disappointed as I would have loved for the capability to have 50 sleeves rather than 25 that could be doubled up. But this is just a personal gripe rather than a complaint about the item. In my pictures you can see the space it saved me along with how the movies look in the sleeves. The Blueray disks stick out, but that is nothing to worry about unless you're really particular about that. I'll definitely be purchasing more of these in the future.Pros:*Thick plastic is sturdy and durable*Sleeves can hold thick amount of content (DVD/Bluerays, booklet,and any other artwork included in the original case)*seriously reduce the amount of space taken up in contrast to original cases (about a fifth of the original space 25 sleeves takes up same space as 5 DVD cases)Cons:* Have to fold some booklets oddly on the spine to ensure fit* Only holds two disks*Lacks serious protection in contrast to original cases (it's the trade off for space though)*Since the sleeves don't have a box shape, storing requires a storage container of sorts with a means to ensure they don't fall over like a pile of papers.
