Love my new desk
I purchased the whole desk set. Love the color and the price was fantastic. Obviously this is not solid wood so you get what you pay for. But regardless, the quality is great for the price and it will hold up well as long as I take care of it. The furniture was relatively easy to put together. My husband did it all, 95% of it by himself...there were a couple of things I helped with but just to move things faster...it can be done by one person. The hutch looks great and sits well on top of the desk piece. It isn't wiggly or precarious. There is enough room for wires and such to go to the back of the desk through a gap so wires are not showing everywhere on the desk.

There isn't a monitor in the world that will fit inside the hutch.
Spent 2.5 hours building the hutch only to discover how little room there is between the desk and the cubbies on the hutch. Unless you want a 12" monitor, no monitor will fit beneath the cubby, making the hutch useless. I have a fully assembled hutch if anyone wants to buy it to try.

Decent Product, Issue with Assembly
Overall once the product is assembled it's not too bad. The price to value equation is decent enough.Assembly was a nightmare. The "B" board in this unit had two holes that were way out of, what should be, acceptable tolerance. The first hole was over 1/16" off and another was 3/16" off. I could force the 1/16" off hole to work (but chipped the board) but the 3/16" off wood dowel hole I just had to leave out of the assembly. No way to make that work at all.I've never had a problem assembling this home furniture stuff. This one was the first I'd struggled with. I was so pissed off trying to get the "B" board to connect that I had to walk away from it for the night. I came back the next morning and decided to leave the wood dowel out and I could force it together.If you buy it I hope you get a better quality, Chinese manufactured unit, than I did.Good luck...
