works great
This breaker bar seems to be of excellent quality for the price. I used it to remove a stubborn manual transmission fluid fill bolt and it made the job much easier. Don't use a smaller wrench and struggle; buy a breaker bar like this one and you will be glad you did.

but it is fine for my purposes
Not the highest quality breaker bar, but it is fine for my purposes. I am not a professional so I need it mainly to instal belts and losen stubborn bolts. The grip is plastic so use gloves when apply a lot of force. For the money I'd buy it again.

Good Product
Real good product for what I need it for. The length is perfect. Love the rubber hand grip. Makes it comfortable to use without having your hand slip. I'm sure they're better one's out there but for the price and what I need it for it is perfect.

Good Buy
Great tool ! No need for those adapter on stubborn fasteners. Such a quality tool for such a great price. It's a no brainer.

Not for heavy duty jobs
I had to loosen a bolt on a control arm. After spraying with PB Blaster and using this breaker bar, the bolt was still tight and the bar was snapped. I'd imagine it works ok for light duty jobs but do you really need a breaker bar for light duty jobs?

Worked when I needed it
This item performed well when I needed it. I had to loosen stubborn bolts on my riding lawn mower blades. Not only was it awkward to reach the bolts and get the proper leverage, but they were too difficult to loosen with a regular socket or open-end wrench.I can't say this was truly a heavy-duty task, but I didn't sense any weakness or flexing in the tool that would indicate it was even close to its capacity. In fact, if a solid metal bar with this diameter were to break, such as the other reviewer describes, this would appear to be a manufacturing defect versus an inherent product design or quality issue or a potential indicator of an individual with super-human strength. The 3/8-inch drive is very convenient, as this fits my standard sockets without the need for an adapter. Every on-ground retailer that I researched only provided 1/2-inch drive breaker bars of any decent length and they were 2x the price of this item, if not more. Most of them weren't even as long as this one.My only complaint with this item is the rubber grip. Conceptually, it is a good addition, as it provides some comfort and grip for your hands when using the item. However, after even minimal use, I had to keep sliding it back on. If using a good set of gloves, you probably don't even need the grip.

great for what it is
I had a stubborn transmission drain bolt on my 1995 honda accord LX that the shop had torqued down wayyy too much and attempted to use a regular 3/8inch ratchet to get it out. Ended up buying this and within 2 tries, the bolt came loose. Couldn't have finished the job without this tool.
