Very Effective Tool!
I have both the 4.7” and 3.2” ball. They are both very effective for deep tissue massage and myofascial release. I have been an athlete for many years and have had lots of injuries (knees, elbow, shoulder, hips, back). My primary use of the balls so far has been for knots and tightness in my hips and trapezius muscles. I have been working with the balls for about a week with fantastic results. For example, I can sit much more comfortably in a cross-legged position for my daily meditation. The tightness in my shoulders is also greatly reduced.I have fairly large muscle mass so the large ball is the most effective for most areas. I prefer the small ball for working the plantar fascia of my feet. It also works well for certain areas of my back. It is good to experiment with positions on the floor and against the wall to find the one that is most effective for a particular body area. For example, I find the floor is better for my hips. For my trapezius and upper back, I prefer the wall. I use a thick towel between the wall and the ball to avoid wall damage. Two other things that are worth experimenting with are (1) whether you simply lean into the ball or roll the ball over the area and (2) the pattern on the ball that you use. The larger patterns feel different than the smaller patterns. I vary it to find what works best for me.I recommend the balls highly.

Pain relief to the max. Love it
I normally use a softball as I'm a big guy. Need something hard to dig in like a baseball or lacrosse but bigger so a softball. This is bigger and 100 times better than a softball. Composed of a soft but hard rubber which doesn't budge when you are rolling around on a knot. Just got it today also bought a second one today . As I drive I keep them on my lower back. Pick it up. Totally what I've been looking for. Get it. Won't regret it.

Good, solid and hard supernova..
My physio suggested to get a supernova for home exercises.. Seems to be good so far helping with tuning my hamstring.. This is a solid rubber like, little heavy and hard but not very hard ball.. Would have liked it to be little more hard.. But still a really good buy..

As good as the original!
I had the original "Supernova" version of this - a much pricier but effective massage ball. I lost that one and in mourning, decided to give this one a try. This one is equally effective! I also like that it is black. Fantastic for rolling out sticky and tight spots.

These therapy balls are excellent for the aches and pains that afflict us all. Regular use will definitely help your muscles to relax and recover.

Great quality
High quality product for the money. Comparing to a massage ball I had in the past that was not durable at all, this is by far superior.

Firm massage ball
I got this to replace the soft foam massage ball I was using. It didn't have enough pressure to work out all the kinks in my shoulders. This one did the trick. It's very heavy and dense and really digs into those knots.

Great for hitting hard to reach spots.
Have been using a tennis ball for the same purpose. The texture and increased hardness took a little getting used to, but the bigger size is great. Great for those spots you just can get at with a foam roller; works great!
