QIACHIP Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Control Kit

I bought this to replace the wireless receiver and remote on my ceiling fan. To my dissatisfaction, my fan's remote and receiver didn't last more than 2 years. A great disappointment from a fairly expensive fan. So I went looking for a replacement and the local fan store was a little to pricey for me so I went to my trusty Amazon account. I found this setup and with Prime, I had it in 2 days. I squeezed it up into the original location and so far it works like a charm. It had an audio beep signal when you press it which I like. Buttons are easy to read and it has a sleep timer to set it to turn off automatically. GREAT product. I hope it last longer than the OEM setup. But at 15.99, not a deal breaker if I have to replace in a couple of years.

Easy to install. Worked right away. Glad I read the other reviews for a VERY important piece of install info! You have to open up the receiver box to pull out the antenna. It's tucked inside and doesn't work without this step. Other than that, it's a breeze! I don't mind the beeps. But, if you're sensitive to that sort of thing, you may want to shop for a silent remote. Cheap and works fine is a win-win in my book.

It works, but not 100% satisfied. It's way too big for my fan housing so I had to modify it too fit outside and next to the fan. I drilled holes in the case in order to secure it to the ceiling. The wires are too short and could be a couple of inches longer for more mounting options. The loud beeping for every button push on the remote is annoying. Tried all the fixes and still beeps. The fan speeds are way slower than before the install. The med is low. And the high is like medium. I even disconnected the light option to see if more power would be redistributed to the fan cable. Update: After experimenting with it more, I figured out that the old setting, when the pull switch broke, was left on low. I opened up the section of the fan with the pull switch, and found a way to manipulate the broken switch to be set on the high setting. Now the fan works great with the remote control settings. So make sure your fan setting is on high before installing this control kit. Also if the setting was left to the off position, then the fan will not work with the control until the setting is fixed. The black box gets hotter than I'm comfortable with. The internal design seems too cheap, and adds to my fears of it burning up. My fan pull switch chain broke off, and I was hoping this would be a better option. 3 stars because it solved my initial problem, but it's not worth the $14 I paid for it. I can't return it because I "damaged" the plastic case. I have some exposed beams in the ceiling so it wasn't a big deal to mount it outside, but now there's this chunky black box sticking out.

The older remote which this replaced was here for about 6 yrs and finally started acting stubborn so we were lucky to find exact thing and the pairing instructions were perfect - easy breezy!

Works pretty well, every time you select a fan speed the control ramp up to maximum speed for very few moment, this action provoked that the fan blades gain speed before down to the selected speed. That feature makes the fan get the right speed faster than regular fans that star in the same speed that they should work. I didn’t tested the auto shut down (timer) but is a must have to save energy. Downside is the construction looks cheap. Little concerned of the internal circuit quality.

This unit works very well at controlling the fan on my front porch. The only negative is very poor instructions on how to install it, and I'm pretty handy. I did a Google search and found the information I needed, but at least a basic wiring diagram would be helpful. But the product itself works great!

Does not work. An electrician try and wire it in and you have a quality fan and wiring and then this cheap two cent thing. Couldn’t get it to work. Not an easy fix with this. Now I am stuck with multiple ““ universal remote and a ceiling fan that doesn’t work.

I connected the device to the fan. The light is working but on the fan the motor creates an abnormal loud noise and it does not spin. It also caused power trips.

I don't normally do reviews, but I bought this to fix a 5 year old Hampton Bay fan, and it worked perfectly. Installation is easy, similar to wiring a new fan, and the remote works very nicely. I also like the timer feature which the original remote did not have. I cannot get the beep to turn off even after following instructions multiple times, and if the power goes off, the light comes back on when the power returns, which is a minor annoyance only. All in all this is an inexpensive way to fix a broken ceiling Fan controller or Fan remote.

Acheté pour intégrer à un ventilateur 3 pâles de 120 cm prévu pour fonctionner normalement avec un boîtier de commande déporté. Installation un peu difficile car l'espace nécessaire à l'intégration du boîtier de commande dans la base de mon ventilateur est très restreint. Le boîtier passe juste. Il n'est pas possible de visser la patte de fixation au plafond et de venir ensuite suspendre le ventilateur comme c'est normalement prévu. Un léger espacement est nécessaire et il est quasi inexistant lorsque le boitier est en place ! On est donc obligé de visser la patte de fixation au plafond avec le ventilateur en place, c'est lourd et donc peu pratique ! Ceci est propre à la combinaison MON ventilateur et CE boîtier de télécommande et ça ne sera peut-être pas le cas avec d'autres ventilateurs. Autre petit problème : Ce ventilateur est installé dans une chambre juste au dessus du lit. La vitesse la plus basse est malheureusement encore un peu trop rapide... La télécommande permet de programmer, si besoin, le fonctionnement du ventilateur pour un laps de temps de 1, 2, 4 ou 8 heures. Je suis malgré tout très satisfait de cet achat.

Funktioniert wunderbar und bisher ohne Probleme.
