Heaven
I grew up in the country, my parents having a hundred acres or so. Black raspberries were abundant but you had to a) get there early before the birds did, and b) put up with lots of scratches from the little, but thorny briars. It's my absolute favorite flavor, but not one readily available. I can get red raspberries, but the flavor is off-putting, I guess because I'm wishing for a different flavor. I even tried to grow them, but I live in florida now, and I think you need a cold season where they go dormant. Thank goodness for the internet, and of course, Amazon. I saw the liquid and the powder, and eventually settled on the liquid. As soon as it came I had to tear into it, to see if it had that wonderful scent. It did. It took me back to that field, in the summer, being ever so careful to pluck a fat berry from the bush without getting caught on a briar. That extraordinary purple color is just beautiful, plus I learned there are a lot of health benefits, too. My first taste test was crepes. I made them twice, not realizing how much extract you needed to add. I'm used to the baking extracts where a little goes a long way. This, I find, needs about 3 times what I would normally use with, say, vanilla or rum. (Although I have been known to go a bit heavy on the vanilla at times.) It is a bit pricey, so it's a special treat for me, but anything that allows you to relive a snippet of a great childhood memory just by sniffing a bottle is certainly special. I should also mention that it came bubble wrapped in a box-exactly how I would have packed it myself. A little bit of heaven in a bottle.

YUMMY WHEN MIXED WITH "FIZZY" WATER.
Black Raspberries are, well... black. One of the questions asked for the review is about the clarity or sheerness of the extract. Had it been, I'd have wondered what the heck was I paying for? Water? No, this extract is exactly what you'd you expect black raspberry extract to look like. For the most part, I've been putting it in some carbonated mineral water water along with some mixed berry powder and a little chocolate syrup. During the hot summer days, it was very refreshing and...YUMMY!! And just think, I'm getting all those antioxidants and other goodies along with a sumptuous drink! Edited July '21. As with all supplements there aren't controlled clinical trials to verify the efficacy of a product but I have to say, I made it through the the Fall-Winter of '20 and Spring /Summer of '21 without any sinus infections. A couple times when my sinuses began to feel as if they wanted to cause a problem, I just made sure I had my berri drink with double the Black Raspberry extract and I beat it back. 1 for me...0 for sinus infections a/o the second half of July'21. .That means I made it through tree and grass pollen season!

Only source of this quality black raspberry
I've been buying this periodically for years and it has always had the same consistent quality and effects. Has a great flavor and a little goes a long way added in yogurt.

Expensive but very good stuff
This tastes good and is wonderful for your throat. I bought it because I suffer from reflux problems in my throat and have read that black raspberry extract is very healing to the esophagus. I put a teaspoon of it in a bit of kefir in the evenings every night for a couple months and noticed an improvement in my throat. It made for a very delicious "smoothie" as well! Unfortunately, this product is just too expensive for me to continue using it. That's the only reason I didn't give it five stars.

tastes sweet and good for your health
Supplied dropper makes taking this supplement easy. Watch out for drips on clothing--may stain. Great supply of polyphenols in this extract.

Very easy to use, tasty way to add anti-inflammatory supplement to your diet
The Oregon Black Raspberry Extract comes with a dropper, so easy to use. I mix the extract into tea, orange juice and/or water. Very tasty, and I am glad to know that I am doing something to help with my arthritis and inflammation in my body. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to try an important supplement for inflammation.
